Tons of Fun with SpongeBob SquarePants Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!

  Good morning lovely friends.
How wonderful of you all to stop by the 2Crafty blog, this is my second layout for the month of September. In our summervacation we went to movie park Germany with the kids as Abbey loves SpongeBob SquarePants & Paw Patrol and Kevin loves rollercoasters and scary stuff. We went there for two days with a sleep in a hotel nearby, we had a lot of fun seeing our kids this happy. Off course Abbey wanted to be on a picture with SpongeBob and I wanted to scrap that right away so I did!

All the chipboard pieces but the word "august" & "foliage set 16" are altered with black gesso then I added some yellow acrylic paint on the filmstrip and top part of the circle "tons of fun"with a sponge on the other pieces I added some sea glass metallique wax and white gesso. The word august is just altered with some white acrylic paint without a primer like gesso.

 Behind the tons of fun circle I placed a piece of paper the same as the middle part of my layout. The foliage set 16 I just used my twinmarkers on and later added some white acrylic paint. The phrase that smile from the mini title stick set 3 I added some white faber castell pen on to make it pop a little more.

"Spring Vibes" First Journaling Pages Playing at ***Lindy's Gang March 2024 Color Challenge***!

Hi lovely friends,
I would like to share with you my first journal pages ever it felt a lot like making a scrapbook page but then smaller ;-) {I kinda love it} I just couldn't let the march color challenge go by without making something else I love the "Alexandra's Artist" set so much it makes my heart happy....
I have used all the colors of the set!

Spring Vibes:

I totally love these colors from the set but I have my favorites like "Tara's Wild Malve" &

"Jana's Jade" with the last one I added a stencil on my background just by adding that color to my white crackle paste with a little water. Then I used a script stencil also the same way as before I only added the "Martina's Marigold" to my paste. 

This color challenge gave me such spring vibes that I used the pretty new collection here and there on my pages by Prima Marketing called "In Full Bloom" I also used some different flowers by prima and a older stamp designed by Valerie Ouellet that she disgned back in 2017 for 49 and Market. 

I also added some rubons to both my pages and some cute little eggs that I bought at Temu and I cute them in half and coloured them with some of colors from the set. Then I added them to my flower clusters. 

After I added the stencils I took out my whole set and water colored on the background which I also did for the first time and I also added some water oh that was very fun to do ;-)  Now for some close ups look below...

I also added some beautiful flower & leaf stamps and colored them with the set then I added some phrases from Tim Holtz 

And also some phrases from the "In Full Bloom" collection I had a lot of fun creating these pages I hope you enjoyed my post. 

This is the color challenge at Lindy's Gang Blog beautiful colors & happy spring feeling. For this color challenge we had to use the pretty Alexandras Artists Magicals Set which has such gorgeous spring like soft toned colors that I could not resist playing a second time.

You Make Me Happy Handsome Lad Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

Well hello sweet friends, 
So glad you are visiting my blog, I really love creating with beautiful chipboard
 pieces like these. For today I have another 12 by 12 layout as those are my favorites to make.
 This time I used a older picture of Kevin and myself.
 Since my printer was acting up I couldn't use the picture I wanted to use.

I just love to wrinkle my papers so that's what I did for this layout. I also machine stitched the outside of my base sheet. Most chipboard pieces are treated with some rust paste and waxes as for the title "you make me happy" the top was embossed {with white powder} and the happy part was also treated with rust paste. 

The 11" holly frame set was firstly treated with some white gesso and later on I added three kinds of green acrylic paints and a lavender acrylic paint. Then on the berry circles I added some wishing bubbles to make them pop a little.

Just Love our Story layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

 Goodmorning lovely friends, 

Today is my turn to show you some inspiration on my blog. For this occasion I made a layout with some beautiful 2crafty chippies and the pretty "P.S. I love you papers" by Graphic 45. For this layout I used a wedding picture of ours back in 2012 in front of city hall.

Most chipboard pieces are layered with black gesso except for the "Leafy Shrub Set 3" that one is treated with white gesso. On that last one I added different colors of green matte acrylic paints to fit the colors of the papers. After that I added some white matte wax and splashes of darker wax. 

After I added the black gesso on the frame I also added some of the papers from the collection behind it I love how that truned out. Then I added some white matte & shiny wax. I think how you alter the chipboard pieces on your work makes them pop extra and sometimes simple treatment makes it perfect for your layout.

"Handsome You Canvas ***March Color Challenge at Lindy's***!

Hi my sweet fiends, 

I was so happy with the March 2023 color challenge at Lindy's that I had to participate. I love to make gruncy projects with gears but it's way out of my comfort zone as I am normally totally into sweet pink and soft toned papers & embellishments like flowers and such. I totally went overboard with the gears and I used a then and now picture of our 18 year old son Kevin. And I used some older prima marketing flowers that I sprayed in the colors for this month. 

Handsome You: 

When the new Sharon Ziv mould was introduced I so wanted to have it and I have to tell you it's amazing. The gears are threated with two layers of gesso and some rust paste and some of the beautiful Lindy's Spray's. The same three butterflies are by Renea Bouquet and the other two by Prima Marketing. 

The words handsome & you are sprayed with the Tibetan Poppy Teal Shimmer Spray and 

 Luscious Lime Flat Spray I really love the effect that the sprays give to the chippies and moulds. I treated the window with some crackle paste and later sprayed it with the two sprays above. 

I also used a finnabair stencil on the background and I made myself a new watermark I love how it turned out like my canvas. This was such a fun project to make hope you like it too....

Simple Moments for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

  Goodmorning sweet friends, 

Today I show you some inspiration on my blog. For this post I made another layout with some pretty prima marketing papers & amazing 2Crafty chipboard pieces. For this layout I used another picture of my husband and our daughter just like on my last layout I showed you here. I really love to decorate my pictures with the amazing phrases like I did here.

All the chipboard pieces are firstly treated with a layer of white gesso. The swirls I decorated with some acrylic matt paint, some spray & wax. The chaine circle I painted with three different paints and black gesso as I did with the clock face. 

The beautiful phrase I treated with two layers of white embossing powder and for the word "together" I also used some embossing powder. For that last one I thought it was to shiny on my layout so I also added some white wax & gesso on that one.

Sure hope you like my layouts as much as I love making them.

Nothing Beats a Father's Love for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

  Good evening sweet & lovely friends, 

I am so excited that you are here with me today as I bring you some inspiration. For this occasion I created a layout with a picture of my husband and darling daughter. For this layout I used a older prima marketing collection named "Georgia Blues" and their embellishments. I really love to work with blues but I find it very hard to take a photograph of my work since blue is hard to take photo's of somehow.

All the chipboard pieces are treated with a layer of white gesso after that I spraypainted it with several sprays in a light blue color trying to mimic the color of the papers. Then I added some darker blue acrylic paint on every piece randomly. 

On the snowball tree I added some bling as I did throughout my layout after that I used some white spray to finish my work.

"Reach for the Stars" Reversed Canvas ***February Color Challenge at Lindy's***!

 Hi my sweet fiends, 

I was so excited about the the new color challenge at Lindy's that I had to participate. And I did with this reversed canvas and I have used the uber pretty "Aquarelle Dreams" collection by Prima Marketing. I made this canvas for my cousin who lives in the states with her husband & cute son. 

Reach for the Stars: 

I have used some of the older flowers by prima who look like the vines that came out with the collection I used. The chipboard pieces I have used here are of course by 2Crafty Chipboard and I also used a couple of moulds.

I really love playing with my Lindy's stash a lot I use them on almost every project I make. I have a bunch of favorites of course like I think everyone has.
