  Good morning lovely friends.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. Since the 30th of September we have a new furbaby in our household, our daughter Abbey love cats so much. That we bought her a little surprise a beautiful black kitten and she has named her "Oreo"! When she is upset at her she will call her "Oreo Mimi Voorthuis" she told me. That made me laugh outloud so very hard I almost peed in my pants. Enjoy my post....

On the word "2Cute" I just added some paper which I used on my panel it's from a collection back in 2015. I just love this colour combination yellow & blue. The pretty foliage was firstly treated with some white gesso and you can guess what I used next right? hahaha my amazing alcohol markers I just love how the work on the pretty chippies. 

For the rest of the chippies I also added a layer of white gesso too, after that I used a mixed of colours and aqua/alcohol markers. Behind the shutters I added some ofthe papers too I liked it much better that way. 

You're Boo-tiful "Moment" Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!

How wonderful of you all to stop by my blog. Today I'd like to show you a Halloween layout 2Crafty Chipboards has a lot of amazing Halloween chippies and I used a couple of them on my work. I used a picture that we took last year at a Halloween party.

All the chipboard pieces but the lattice leaves & foliage set 13 are altered with black gesso, after that I used a couple of matte and metallique waxes to make it shimmer a little. 

For the other pieces I used two layers white gesso and my amazing alcohol markers in a couple of green tones. I also added some plastic spiders this was such a fun layout to make....

Altered Tissue Box for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!

 Good morning lovely friends.
How wonderful of you all to stop by my blog. For today I want to show you  a altered tissue box made with a bunch of my favorite 2Crafty Chippies. This box is based on my daily job as a optician. Vanessa made me some amazing tabs with all words used in optics and I used three of them on my box. I made this for at my job to show in the lunch area. For this I used a golden oldy collection from 2012.....enjoy my post!

I altered most of my chippies with some white gesso then for the frames I used my aqua & alcohol markers in different colours. Normally I love to add a bunch of phrases & words but for this one I used none which was a huge test for me lol...

For the giant gears I altered those with some brown rust paste after I primed them with two layers of white gesso. After that I added two of them on top of each other with some glue and a huge brad to add some demension. The tabs Vanessa made for my I left them in their raw state which look the best on my box.  

Tons of Fun with SpongeBob SquarePants Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!

How wonderful of you all to stop by the 2Crafty blog, this is my second layout for the month of September. In our summervacation we went to movie park Germany with the kids as Abbey loves SpongeBob SquarePants & Paw Patrol and Kevin loves rollercoasters and scary stuff. We went there for two days with a sleep in a hotel nearby, we had a lot of fun seeing our kids this happy. Off course Abbey wanted to be on a picture with SpongeBob and I wanted to scrap that right away so I did!

All the chipboard pieces but the word "august" & "foliage set 16" are altered with black gesso then I added some yellow acrylic paint on the filmstrip and top part of the circle "tons of fun"with a sponge on the other pieces I added some sea glass metallique wax and white gesso. The word august is just altered with some white acrylic paint without a primer like gesso.

 Behind the tons of fun circle I placed a piece of paper the same as the middle part of my layout. The foliage set 16 I just used my twinmarkers on and later added some white acrylic paint. The phrase that smile from the mini title stick set 3 I added some white faber castell pen on to make it pop a little more.

Grandma and Me Decorative Oval Panel for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

How wonderful of you all to stop by the blog, for today I have 10"decorative panel that I altered, 2Crafty Chipboard has bunch of them and this is my third that I worked with and I have to tell you they are absolute amazing. I made this for my aunt because it's a picture with little phoenix who sadly lost his life in september 2024. They where on a hiking trail and they had a blast here, I wanted to give her a reminder off the good times they had.

First I started with altering the 10" decorative panel with some white gesso and white matte acrylic paint. Then I used some brown matte acrylic paint and three color waxes red, white & brown. The Elousia frame I treated with my alcohol markers in two colors red and then I used some gesso on it and some brown wax.  

The old fence was treated with two colors of brown spray ink and when that was totally dry I added a woodgrain stamp on it. The field mushroom & cattail shrubs are painted with my aqua & alcohol markers and I finished them with a brush stroke of white matte wax.

All About Love Embroidery Hoop for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

How wonderful of you all to stop by my blog, for today I have a little something else to show you. This time I made a spring embroidery hoop, but my printer was acting up so I didn't used
the picture I wanted too. But this is still a cute picture of your beautiful children Kevin & Abbey!

All the chipboard pieces are altered with two layers of white gesso. Then I treated the two celia frames {those are my favorite frames from 2Crafty by far} with two layers wowzers white embossing powder, I also did that with the top part of the word "about" the bottom part I used my alcohol marker in a light denim blue color. I also used that for the word love.

The butterflies are also altered with my alcoholmarker in the color "straw yellow" then I layered them on some light yellow paper from the same collection I used here which is the NEW maja design collection called Spring Garden. On the centers of the butterflies I added some nuvo crystal drops, the clock face I just painted with two colors of acrylic paints in blue & yellow!

A Cheeky Moment Captured Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!

How wonderful of you all to stop by my blog, this is my first layout for the month of April. We are getting more and more warmer weather and how I love that. For today I have another layout to share with you and this was such a great one to make I especially love that cheeky picture of Abbey. For this layout I used a 2016 paper collection by BoBunny called "Secret Garden" and a bunch of wonderful 2Crafty Chipboard pieces. Enjoy my post....

It was a while back that I used rust paste on my work so that is what I did on thie layout. It gives your chipboard that extra vintage feeling you will probably see more of that from me soon. 

After I applied the rust paste I also added some waxes on the other pieces I added some acrylic paints in different colors and on some of the chippies I used my alcohol/aqua pens like the green on the 12x12 Braches Frame Set which is a absolute new favorite of mine.
