A lot is happening around here (my hubby fell down the stairs so he can't walk)! ect.....our son is acting up grrrr so a lot off free ME time down the drain...
I will tell you something now I need to scrap in the middle off the night to get my ME time I need, lol well who off us doesn't right???
Today I want to share a layout I created for Once Upon A Sketch May challenge
The theme is: numbers
Ans this is what Nadia has to say about the challenge on the blog:
This month, we ask you to include a number , ANY number, on your layout. It has to be VISIBLE on your layout and it can be in your title or part of your journalling. It can be a date, an age, a house number, an anniversary, the number of children you have, the number of pets ....anything you like. But please make sure that there is some explanation through your journalling, somewhere on your page or blog about what this number means to you.
You have use this amazing sketch:
Amazing right???
With this layout I'm also entering another challenge at:
Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 78 - Bling it Up
I used the pretty B161 Lace Corner Deco A die to accent the corners off the pictures!!
Here are the rules:
- You MUST follow the theme and use at least one Cheery Lynn Designs die, of course, we would love to see more than one.
- You MUST add a link to your blog post in the InLinkz at the end of this post; no back posting, only new projects are allowed
- You MUST link to this challenge in your blog post or on your gallery post
- You may only enter the challenge ONCE per week.
For this layout I used the " A Ladies' Dairy" by Graphic 45. I also used some awesome metal elements and a wonderful chipboard piece by Imaginarium Designs. That I painted and then used star dust stickles on.
This is my take on the Sketch/Challenge
This beautiful lady is my great grandmother Johanna the picture on the left is a picture back in 1954 with my mom on her arm and the other picture is when she was much older.
Now you can see I'm not a whole Dutch lady at all. She's from Indonesia.......
Here a couple off close-ups:
Hope you all like my take on the sketch!!
Have a wonderful week.
