Embrace The Journey Mixed Media Panel ***Playing at Finnabair February 2022 Art Recipe***

 Hi lovely friends,

I saw my sweet friend Pascale Bernard use some amazing sized canvasses a while back and I really wanted them too. So I asked her what size they where and she told me they are 10 by 30 cm. I asked my husbands friend {who lives in France} if he could buy me some since we don't have them here in The Netherlands. This is a fun size to create with.

Embrace The Journey:

I painted my canvas with heavy black gesso, then I added the swirly florel stencil with some crackle paste when that was dry I put on a layer of black gesso again. Then I used three different mica powders rust, copper & vintage ivory and some water.

Then I made my mouds four different ones, the frame was also treated with heavy black gesso and the gears & star too. Then I added some matallic flakes on the frame and some waxes. The rest of the moulds are treated with white gesso and a bunch of different acrylic paints & waxes.

And for the finishing touch I added some memory hardware pearls, wishing bubbles, mechanicals and snow and at the end I used my new favorite wax white pearl to accent the edges of my panel as on the flowers and stencil work.

This is the amazing Art Recipe that's on the Finnabair blog!

Loving these moments with you first Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***

 Hello there lovely friends.

It's so nice that you are here for my first post as a DT member for 2Crafty.
For this layout I used several gorgeous chippies which I all used white gesso on.
The word "shine" I just left white, and the frame had some leafy protrusions on it that I cut off and tucked in my flower clusters {and left them white also}.

Loving these moments with you:

Loving These Moments With You
Frame Madeline's Flourish
6"Fine Heart Leaf Frame
Mini Flourish Bits
 Fine Word Set 2

I used two frames on this layout {I have a weakness for them} The 6"Fine Heart Leaf Frame I painted in two colors to match my papers then I added a piece of paper behind it so I could add the phrase.
The frame round my picture was treated with waxes {ochre & rusty brown}

On the pieces that I painted green I also added some shimmer spray to make it more blend into my layout. I used a picture of our darling daughter Abbey last fall you will see her a lot on my layouts. For this layout I used Maja Design papers & beautiful flowers.

As a finishing touch I added some art stones & gesso to my flowers. And on my chippies some white pearl wax. Thank you so much for your visit and I hope to see you next time.

Much love and happy crafting...

Wonderful Spring Day Layout for ***Scrap And Me*** Challenge #90 Spring!!!

 Goodmorning my lovely friends,

It's the 8th of the month and that means another challenge over at the ScrapAndMe blog. For this challenge I made another layout this time it had to do with  "Spring" and for me that means flowers..here in The Netherlands the skies are blue with lots of sun but still very cold tho.....but everything feels like spring.

Wonderful Spring Day:

I just love using multiple pictures on my layout but normally I never do that but lately I enjoy making that work. On the background I did some stamping, stenciling & rubons. Here I used the pretty "Pink Blossom 2"collection. I also did some stitching on the edges of my layout.

The pictures are from last spring, we went to the flower fields in our city and took a bunch of pictures. There were a lot of people, like married couples, pregnant couples and just people who make pictures of the flowers. I matted my pictures with another collection which I will show you below.

I used some 49 and market flowers from my stash {they are the best in this industry and fit with almost every color of paper} I did a lot of layering here to level up to my flowers, in the end I added some art stones & wishing bubbles.

Smile Beauty Layout for ***Scrap And Me***!

 Hello my lovely friends,

I am delighted that you are here with me today, this time I used the always amazing "Sapphire Days" collection which I mixed with the "Something Else" collection. I really enjoy mixing collections I always do that with my other DT's too. I did use almost all my Sapphire cut outs on this layout so hopefully there will be another new blue collection soon.

Smile Beauty:
On the pictures you see our little princess Abbey taken yesterday on my husbands & mine birthday, her hair all pretty and holding her dress & dancing in it so adorable. For this layout I added four layers of paper and on the background sheet {the black with text on it} & on the top sheet I stitched around the edges.

This collection is one of my favorites since I love blues, the frames you see on this layout are from frosty days & pink blossoms 2 I was long planning on making something with this pretty frames.

Those clocks are so cool they make a great addition to you work at least that's what I think. Underneath my stenciling I added a script stamp to make more demension. At the end I added some phrases, words & wishing bubbles to my layout and voila it's done.
