Tropical Sunset Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard*** + Playing along with challenge 143 ~Butterflies~ at Hobby Vision!!!

  Hi lovely creative peeps, 
I hope this post will find you well and that you are enjoying your day! Well I always enjoy my day while creating for 2Crafty Chipboard since I think it's unimaginable not to use their chippies on my work. For today I have layout to share with you all and again I used a picture of my husband & me like the last project. But this picture is from my summer vacation last month both enjoying the beautiful sunset.

I left most of the chipboard pieces in their raw state because that looked better with the papers I used here. I only added some waxes a white one and a rusty brown one. The fishing net bits are treated with some rust paste after I gessod them with white gesso in the end I added some white wax.

The "tropical sunset" phrase I had in my collection for a long time and I finally got to use it, it was perfect for tis picture. The word sunset was treated with two layers of white embossing powders and on the tropical word I added some rusty brown wax. 

With this layout I will be entering the challenge at the  Hobby Vision blog ~143~Vlinders and maybe many of you know I love vlinders on this layout I used 5 of them they are rub-ons that I added on cardstock and then I cut them out to place on my layout.

Happy Together Decorative Panel for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

I hope this post will find you well and that you are enjoying your day! I know I will on this beautiful summer day {on my vacation in Greece} For today I have another mixed media panel to share with you all and this time I used a picture of Jeroen and me on a wedding of his co-worker last may.

I finally found the time to use that amazing 10" Decorative Panel Wire Circle I had that one in my stash for a while now. Firstly I altered it with white gesso and then some rust paste {yellow & brown} after that I used two matte waxes to coördinate with the papers I have used here. On the Photo Adornment Larindas Flourish I used a technique that I love very much I have used a crackle paste on it with some magical powder & some true snow. 

 The words that I used on my work are just gessod with white gesso and then I added two layers of white embossing powder. The frames are altered with only a little wax in two colors. The Industrial Spring Set was altered with some white gesso and some matte wax in just one color & on the palm leaves I used two colors of matte wax.

Good Times Mixed Media Panel for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

 Hi lovely Friends, 
On this grizzled day in my part of the world I bring you some summer vibes,
 because I for sure need it. For today's post I made a mixed media panel with three pictures of our Abbey on the beach in Greece last summer. I was planning on posting this panel for a challenge but then I thought I have used a bunch of beautiful 2Crafty Chippies that I could better post it as one of DT projects here. Enjoy my post....

As you probably know by now I always gesso my chippies first most of the time I do two layers. I treated my two text chipboard pieces & the seahorses with two colors of embossing powder I jus really love that effect.

This wooden panel is 4 by 12 inch I just love to work with that size, a while back I saw a wonderful piece of art on pinterest with a whole bunch of frames {sadly I don't know the maker} After I saw that gorgeous piece I really wanted to make something like that myself. 

The rest of the chipboard pieces are decorated with embossing powders. I only left the beautiful seashells raw I only added some shimmer spray and a touch of white wax

For today I have layout to share with you all and this time it's a picture of Abbey and me after my by-pass surgery with a lot less kilo's to drag with me. I can't believe it's been eight months already I feel so much better now.

Most of the chipboard pieces are altered with two layers of white gesso and later on with some matte acrylic paints. After that I used a sponge on the leaves with some matte white wax. 

I cut the pharse "It's time to bloom" in two pieces and used it separate on my layout I altered it with some pink acrylic paint which I then used some brown wax on. The words are treated with two layers of white gesso {I always seem to do that hihi} and then added two layers of white embossing powders.

Altered Box for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

 Well hello there crafty friends, 
I am very delighted you are her with me, for today I'd like to share a altered box that I created for my colleague who is leaving us to enjoy her well deserved pension. Although it's with a raw edge since she heard that her cancer is back since the beginning of march {throughout her bones this time} but that doesn't keep her from being a very positive lady and I really admire her for that and so much more. This box holds cards from her colleagues who worked with her a lot longer then me, since I started working there september 2023. But that doesn't mean I didn't make her a card,  I of course did and a nice box to hold them in, in her favorite color yellow. Enjoy this post.....

I painted the oversized flower stem set with some spray paint and a pencil in defferent colors. But fistly I cut them up and only used pieces of them. For the skeleton leaves I used the same technique. Undertneath the big green piece of paper there is a picture of "Riek" but I wasn't sure if she wanted me to post it online so I didn't. 

The words & phrases are threated with two layers of white gesso after that I added some white shiny embossing powder {three layers} then I added some stained wood wax on all of tehm some a little more then the other. The beeyoutiful set was only altered with white gesso and tucked in flower clusters.
