Happy Memories to Remember layout for ***ScrapAndMe***Challenge #100 "Anything Goes"!!!

 Hello sweet crafty friends, 

It's the 8th of the month and that means another challenge over at the ScrapAndMe blog. This time it's the #100 challenge and that means it's a "Anything Goes"! With that being said I made a 12 by 12 layout using the pretty NEW "Dream a Little" collection. For this layout I used a picture of nieces Merel & Mijntje at a photoshoot a while back. 

Happy Memories to Remember: 

I did some stenciling & layering the background. The leaves I made them look like the are bold if you know what I mean. The frame around the picture is also handmade with the papers and my sewing machine.

 Hello fellow creative souls, 
I am so excited that you are here with us today as I bring you some inspiration with pictures from our summer vacation trip to Greece where we had a lovely time. For my base I used a vinyl record the size about 11,5 inches that I then decorated with beautiful 2Crafty chipboard pieces.

The yellow frame on the top was painted with acrylic paint and after that I sprayed some golden spray over it. The wonderful phrase was treated with the same yellow paint as the frame but then I added three different golden sprays on it. The little clockface was painted with black gesso and some golden coloured sprays and I finished it off with some glossy accents.

The big clockface was first treated with a layer of black gesso then I added two different waxes on it to make it shine a little bit and give it a little color, it's a brushing technique which is so settisfying to do. On the rest of the chipboard pieces I added two layers of white gesso before I altered them further. The green chipboard pieces are treated with some green spray & then I blow dried it while spraying them love that effect. On the Artdeco frame I did the brush technique with some white gesso and in the end some vintage golden wax

Spring Smile Layout for ***ScrapAndMe***!!

 Hello Lovely Friends! 
I am still so delighted that I am part of this wonderful design team these papers are so freaking pretty that I am in scrapbooking heaven everytime I am in my scraproom. Spring Purple has to be my alltime favorite for sure. I really wanted to scrap this picture of Abbey for a while now and the "Spring Purple"collection was the perfect fit for it. 

Spring Smile: 

I really love the look of wrinckled papers on my layouts the papers of ScrapAndMe are perfect for that technique. The big flower is handmade what I really like to do although it's very time consuming I find it very relaxing. On the background of my layout I stitched around the edges with my sewing machine and I used a stencil fot more intresting parts on my work. 

I love to add clocks to my work so I did here I was a little inspired by the newest moulds that where just released. I also added some mould hearts which I painted with purple acrylic paint & some wax. I cut out the word spring to add to my layout from the cover of the collection pack. For the finishing touch I added paper clips, art stones, lace and jute cord. I also did a lot of fussy cutting here.

Forever Precious Layout for ***ScrapAndMe***!!

  Hello sweet friends, 

Happy 1ste of June, today I have another layout to share with you all. I think I mentioned before that I love to combine collections and that is what I did here. I have used a very precious picture of Abbey & my husband that's why I named my layout 'Forever Precious"! For this layout I have used some older techniques and material {swirls by zva} that where there in the beginng of my scrap journey back in 2005 

Forever Precious: 

For the top part of my layout I have used one of my favorite sheets of the "Afternoon Sky" collection and for the lower part I have used the "Amidst the Roses" collection. I did some mixed media on my layout I have used sprays, stamps, rubons and a stencil.

Delight in Every Moment layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard*** & ***Maja Design***!

 Hello my lovely fiends, 

Welcome to my blog, 
today I will show you a layout with the gorgeous new collection called "Everyday Life" by Maja Design and ohhhh my words it's so freaking gorgeous. It has different color pallettes and some amazing cut out sheets to work with, for today's layout I went for the yellow,cream and black/brown shades. I did a lot of distressing on my borders and what I totally love about this collection it has such lovely phrases randomly placed of the paper sheets. When this collection of papers came in I right away knew which pieces of 2Crafty Chipboard I wanted to use. I am a big fan of borders and anything swirly. 

Delight in Every Moment: 

I have used three layers here for my layout and behind the picture two layers, I used a gorgeous stencil by Celebr8 on my background. I also did a lot of fussy cutting on my layout like the sunflowers en butterflies. Firstly I coated the corner pieces, phrase and aztec feather with a thin layer of white gesso, then I used some gold embossing powder on the corners and white embossing powder on the phrase & feather after that I added some waxes in different shades to create more depth.

I off course used a picture of our lovely Abbey that I took last year her sitting in the grass with flowers in her hand. The beautiful chipboard border is treated with some gold shimmer spray and some waxes. On the background paper I used a new stencil and I finished my layout of by adding some "say it in crystals" & some white spray.
