Forever Precious Layout for ***ScrapAndMe***!!

  Hello sweet friends, 

Happy 1ste of June, today I have another layout to share with you all. I think I mentioned before that I love to combine collections and that is what I did here. I have used a very precious picture of Abbey & my husband that's why I named my layout 'Forever Precious"! For this layout I have used some older techniques and material {swirls by zva} that where there in the beginng of my scrap journey back in 2005 

Forever Precious: 

For the top part of my layout I have used one of my favorite sheets of the "Afternoon Sky" collection and for the lower part I have used the "Amidst the Roses" collection. I did some mixed media on my layout I have used sprays, stamps, rubons and a stencil.

2 Cards for ***Scrap And Me*** Challenge #92 For Mom!!!

Hello my crafty friends, 
Happy May it's the 8th of the month and that means another challenge over at the ScrapAndMe blog. This time the challenge is "For Mom" since it is mothersday today I made one card for my mother in law & one for my own mom. 
The red one was made with the pretty "Vintage Garden" collection {for my mom} and the purple one was made with the "Aquarelles" collection {for my mother in law}. As I said before I always make two cards I just love doing that, always in the same style but different colors.

For the bases of the cards I just used plain cardstock and on top of that I added a sheet from the "Rosy Days" collection {on both cards} with the white woodgrain. Then I added some cut out elements from the both collection I mentioned above. I also cut out the pretty butterflies and placed them randomly on my cards.

To finish my cards I added some rub-ons, wishing bubbles and some white spray {finally got my favorite white spray yeah....so happy!

Blowing Bubbles in the Sky Layout for ***ScrapAndMe***!

Happy first of April lovely friends, 

Today we woke up with a layer of beautiful white snow on top of the trees, cars, gras & roof tops. But luckily it's melting again because it's very cold brrr. Today I have another layout to share with you all made with the beautiful "Afternoon Sky"collection from ScrapAndMe. I just love that collection but it's oh so hard to take a good picture because of the blue. 

Blowing Bubbles in the Sky: 

This time I made the pictures black/white my loves daughter blowing bubbles she wants to do it the whole day long hahaha. For this layout I used the pretty 5/6 sheet and cut it in half then I placed the opposite sides next to each other. But first I cut off one cm of the outer edge and stitched around it. Then I placed it on the 7/8 sheet. 

Before I placed the upper sheet on the darker blue sheet I cut out the middle part to matt my pictures & frames. Then I added waterdrop stamps and rub-ons randomly on my layout. After that I looked where I wanted to place my pictures and stuck them to my layout and now I could embellish it with a bunch of fussy cut pieces, flowers and butterflies. 

In the end I used some rub-on phrases, words on the frames and I finished it off by using some shimmer spray. I hope you enjoyed my work and I have inspired you to use your beautiful ScrapAndMe papers.

One of a Kind Layout for ***ScrapAndMe***!

  Happy Spring lovely friends, 

I am delighted that you are here with me today, I was super excited that newest collection "Afternoon Sky" was brought by the postman last wednesday. It's so pretty in real life that I had to digg in as soon as I got the chance. In my last post I hoped there would be another blue collection and my prayers are answered. And off course I made a layout with it with a picture of Abbey as my focal point.

One of a Kind: 

I did a lot of disstressing the edges and coloured it with ink. I also made a fun patched background behind my picture with strips of paper from the backgound sheet I used. Then I added some eyelets on the left side of my layout to run some ribbon through.

I did some mixed media on the background with rub-ons, stamping & stenciling to give my layout more depth & demension. This was fussy cutting heaven I really adore this collection. At the end I added some art stones, sprays & butterflies

Wonderful Spring Day Layout for ***Scrap And Me*** Challenge #90 Spring!!!

 Goodmorning my lovely friends,

It's the 8th of the month and that means another challenge over at the ScrapAndMe blog. For this challenge I made another layout this time it had to do with  "Spring" and for me that means flowers..here in The Netherlands the skies are blue with lots of sun but still very cold tho.....but everything feels like spring. 

Wonderful Spring Day: 

I just love using multiple pictures on my layout but normally I never do that but lately I enjoy making that work. On the background I did some stamping, stenciling & rubons. Here I used the pretty "Pink Blossom 2"collection. I also did some stitching on the edges of my layout. 

The pictures are from last spring, we went to the flower fields in our city and took a bunch of pictures. There were a lot of people, like married couples, pregnant couples and just people who make pictures of the flowers. I matted my pictures with another collection which I will show you below.

I used some 49 and market flowers from my stash {they are the best in this industry and fit with almost every color of paper} I did a lot of layering here to level up to my flowers, in the end I added some art stones & wishing bubbles.
