My Soulmate Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!

Hello and goodmorning lovely friends,
How wonderful of you all to stop by my blog, this is my first layout for the month february the month of love as we all know. So this year will mark 27 years of being together with "my soulmate" that's why I called my layout this way. The picture I used is on of us both during a wedding of a now ex-colleague of my husband last may.

This layout was sitting in a plastic layout holder for like a whole year! I started it but then my inspiration for it got lost along the way, I hope I am not the only one with that problem sometimes. Now I finally had the inspiration & right chippies to finish it. 

I treated the chipboard pieces with one layer of white gesso, then I used both my aqua/alcohol markers to color them in different colors. Behind some of the pieces I added papers from the same collection. I have to say I am in love with the new Foliage Set 12 just as much as I am with my husband hahaha just kidding.

Wonderful Memory of You layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!

 Hi there lovely friends,

It's a lovely day to visit my blog because I have another layout to share with you all. What I really love about 2Crafty Chipboard pieces are that they are so delicate and swirly which makes your layouts & other works so romantic and I am a sucker for romance and hearts.

I just can't stop creating in purple colors since it is my favorite color lol, this layout was made with the pretty "Spring Purple" collection. All the chippies are painted with one layer of white gesso then I painted the "Memory of You" phrase with some purple acrylic paint then I added some transparant crackle paste and some wax when it was dry.

I painted the Leafy Shrub Set 1 with some green acrylic matte paint and then I added some wax and purple impasto paint. I also added some hearts from the "Steampunk Hearts" mould by Finnabair which I painted with black gesso en pruple wax. In the end I added some pearle on the leafy set to give it more demension. The flowers are all handmade and I did a lot of fussy cutting as well.

It's Your Day Gorgeous Layout for ***ScrapAndMe***!

Hello lovely friends, 

 Happy 1st of July today I have another layout to share this time I stayed in the purples but with the "Meadow Impressions" collection. As purple is my favorite color I hardly ever scrap with it which I think is weird but with these beautiful collections ScrapAndMe offers I am having a heavenly scrappy time lol. For this layout I have used a picture of Abbey in her princess dress she is almost turning three years on the 15th of this month. 

It's Your Day Gorgeous: 

First I cut out a circle from the background sheet then I layered a other sheet which I cut with a scissor and later on stitched around the edges. Then I used a stencil with some light moderling paste and then I added the flowers & fussycut elements.

It's the first time I used a Polish text on my work and I love how it turned out. The wings on the butterflies I bend to make them look like they are flying. In the end I added some sprays & waxes on my flowers.

Shine Bright Always Layout for ***ScrapAndMe***!

 Hello lovely fiends!

Today I show you some inspiration with the pretty 'Sunflowers" collection by ScrapAndMe for this layout I aged the pictures of our Abbey surrounded by gorgeous yellow flowers. The sunflowers are handmade with an older die by Cheery Lynn Designs that I had in my stash, for the centres I used glitter glass by Renea Bouquets...I did a lot of mixed media on this layout.

Shine Bright Always: 

First, I prepped the background sheet with clear gesso to, later on, use some sprays & a stencil. I distressed the edges of all the outer sides of my sheets. And I finished my layout by adding some crystals & art stones.

One of a Kind Layout for ***ScrapAndMe***!

  Happy Spring lovely friends, 

I am delighted that you are here with me today, I was super excited that newest collection "Afternoon Sky" was brought by the postman last wednesday. It's so pretty in real life that I had to digg in as soon as I got the chance. In my last post I hoped there would be another blue collection and my prayers are answered. And off course I made a layout with it with a picture of Abbey as my focal point.

One of a Kind: 

I did a lot of disstressing the edges and coloured it with ink. I also made a fun patched background behind my picture with strips of paper from the backgound sheet I used. Then I added some eyelets on the left side of my layout to run some ribbon through.

I did some mixed media on the background with rub-ons, stamping & stenciling to give my layout more depth & demension. This was fussy cutting heaven I really adore this collection. At the end I added some art stones, sprays & butterflies
