Nothing Beats a Father's Love for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

  Good evening sweet & lovely friends, 

I am so excited that you are here with me today as I bring you some inspiration. For this occasion I created a layout with a picture of my husband and darling daughter. For this layout I used a older prima marketing collection named "Georgia Blues" and their embellishments. I really love to work with blues but I find it very hard to take a photograph of my work since blue is hard to take photo's of somehow.

All the chipboard pieces are treated with a layer of white gesso after that I spraypainted it with several sprays in a light blue color trying to mimic the color of the papers. Then I added some darker blue acrylic paint on every piece randomly. 

On the snowball tree I added some bling as I did throughout my layout after that I used some white spray to finish my work. 

Sure hope you like my layouts as much as I love making them.

"Reach for the Stars" Reversed Canvas ***February Color Challenge at Lindy's***!

 Hi my sweet fiends, 

I was so excited about the the new color challenge at Lindy's that I had to participate. And I did with this reversed canvas and I have used the uber pretty "Aquarelle Dreams" collection by Prima Marketing. I made this canvas for my cousin who lives in the states with her husband & cute son. 

Reach for the Stars: 

I have used some of the older flowers by prima who look like the vines that came out with the collection I used. The chipboard pieces I have used here are of course by 2Crafty Chipboard and I also used a couple of moulds.

I really love playing with my Lindy's stash a lot I use them on almost every project I make. I have a bunch of favorites of course like I think everyone has.

Your Special Day February 3rd Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard*** + Playing along challenge #101 at ***ScrapAndMe***!

Hello sweet friends, 

I am so excited that you are here with me today as I bring some inspiration. For this occasion I created a layout with a picture of my beautiful niece Merel. Merel just turned 19 on the 3rd of February and she is one year and four days older then Kevin who just turned 18 on the 7th. I made this layout as a present for her. I was inspired by a color challenge on Facebook but I did not have time to enter the challenge.

I have used a whole bunch of chipboard pieces as I really love to combine them. All the pieces are treated with one layer of white gesso. Lately I really love to color my chipboard pieces with spray paint and then add some waxes or rust paste. 

The white chipboard pieces you see on my work are treated with two layers of white embossing powder. I also did a lot of machine stitching on my layout and  I have used some rub ons and flowers from three different manufacturers. 

With this layout I will be entering this months challenge at the ScrapAndMe blog this month it's all about adding a heart to your work as it is the month of love. 

For this layout I have used two ScrapAndMe collections named:

My Beauties ~ Last Layout ~ for ***ScrapAndMe***!

    Hello creative friends, 

Although it makes me a little sad that this is my final layout as a DT member of ScrapAndMe, I am also glad that I could make some space for other talent. Anna thank you so much for having me on your design team I really enjoyed working with your gorgeous papers & I will still be using them on my creative journey. Your are such a sweet, generous & lovely person with tons of patiënts. But for now I have look after my health & other family things. For this layout I used one of my favorite paperlines called "Beauties" most of those flowers are my favorite kind in real life. 

My Beauties: 

For my layout I used a picture of Kevin & Abbey a couple of months after she was born back in 2019. This picture really shows the love between siblings then and now they are inseparable even with such a age difference of 14 years. Kevin will turn 18 within two weeks and Abbey is the one that can't wait to celebrate it even more then Kevin does.

Forever Treasure this Day heart canvas for ***2Crafty Chipboard***

 Hello fellow creative souls, 

I am so excited that you are here with me today as I bring you some new inspiration. For this occasion I created a heart canvas for my co-worker. Her daughter went to Curaçao with her aunt & grandmother last August and her dream came true which was swimming with the dolphins. She & I just really love the pictures they took so she asked me if I could make something for her so I did.

The background that I created here took a couple of days since I love it when it dries & crackles naturally. I also used a couple of stencils on my background and some sprays and waxes.

All the chipoard pieces are treated with either acrylic paint, spray paint, rust paste and waxes. I really love the effect that paste makes on the chippies in the end I added some wishing bubbles & art stones.
