Happy Memories to Remember layout for ***ScrapAndMe***Challenge #100 "Anything Goes"!!!

 Hello sweet crafty friends, 

It's the 8th of the month and that means another challenge over at the ScrapAndMe blog. This time it's the #100 challenge and that means it's a "Anything Goes"! With that being said I made a 12 by 12 layout using the pretty NEW "Dream a Little" collection. For this layout I used a picture of nieces Merel & Mijntje at a photoshoot a while back.

I did some stenciling & layering the background. The leaves I made them look like the are bold if you know what I mean. The frame around the picture is also handmade with the papers and my sewing machine.

Merry Christmas card (non traditional colors) for ***ScrapAndMe***!!!

 Happy New Year lovely creative friends, 

I just can believe we started a new year already time flies by so fast. My health hasn't been at his best lately I am struggeling with high blood pressure and more health issues that's why I have not been scrapbooking lately. But I did manage to make a Christmas card to show you all here. This card was made with the latest collection "Dream a Little"! I really enjoy making non traditional coloured Chirstmas cards so that is what I did here. 

Merry Christmas: 

The flowers are handmade with some beautiful dies like the ones that you can buy in the ScrapAndMe store. I love layering my cards with many layers of papers on this particular card I stitched the two top layers of my card and distressed the edges.

A Wonderful Summer Day layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!

 Goodmorning sweet creative friends, 

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas I sure did. I am going through my summer pictures and I saw this picture of Abbey that I had to scrap. For this layout I have used several of my most favorite 2Crafty chipboard pieces and the "Sapphire Days" paper collection by ScrapAndMe.

All the chipboard pieces are treated with two layers of embossing powders (some with different colors) after they where first treated with two layers of white gesso. On the hinges I added pearle drops in the end.

"Christmas Wonder" Layout for fun + Playing with the quarterly challenge at "MIxed Media Place"!!!

 Hello lovely creative people, 

I just couldn't let the quarterly challlenge at the Mixed Media Place blog pass by since it is such a pretty mood board. I am not a real fan of making Christmas projects overall but this one was so much fun to make since I had a sweet sweet picture of my little Abbey posing in front of our Christmas tree last year.....I totally forgot that I had taken them. 

"Christmas Wonder"

I have distressed the edges around my layout the I made some horizontal fissures where I later one added some of the fine metallic flakes. That really gives such a shiny effect and it's so much fun to do so. On my chipboard pieces I added some acrylic paint, wax and the same flakes.
