2 Cards for ***Scrap And Me*** Challenge #92 For Mom!!!

Hello my crafty friends, 
Happy May it's the 8th of the month and that means another challenge over at the ScrapAndMe blog. This time the challenge is "For Mom" since it is mothersday today I made one card for my mother in law & one for my own mom. 
The red one was made with the pretty "Vintage Garden" collection {for my mom} and the purple one was made with the "Aquarelles" collection {for my mother in law}. As I said before I always make two cards I just love doing that, always in the same style but different colors.

For the bases of the cards I just used plain cardstock and on top of that I added a sheet from the "Rosy Days" collection {on both cards} with the white woodgrain. Then I added some cut out elements from the both collection I mentioned above. I also cut out the pretty butterflies and placed them randomly on my cards.

To finish my cards I added some rub-ons, wishing bubbles and some white spray {finally got my favorite white spray yeah....so happy!

Shine Bright Always Layout for ***ScrapAndMe***!

 Hello lovely fiends!

Today I show you some inspiration with the pretty 'Sunflowers" collection by ScrapAndMe for this layout I aged the pictures of our Abbey surrounded by gorgeous yellow flowers. The sunflowers are handmade with an older die by Cheery Lynn Designs that I had in my stash, for the centres I used glitter glass by Renea Bouquets...I did a lot of mixed media on this layout.

Shine Bright Always: 

First, I prepped the background sheet with clear gesso to, later on, use some sprays & a stencil. I distressed the edges of all the outer sides of my sheets. And I finished my layout by adding some crystals & art stones.

Isn't She Lovely layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard*** & ***Maja Design***!

 Hello my lovely friends, 
Welcome to my blog, I made a very colorful layout to show you today and I have used all these gorgeous chippies you see below. This layout was build with lots of layers and I have used two Maja Design collections to do so.

The beautiful fine corner florals is treated with white gesso & embossing powder, I wanted it to pop of my page. The clock face I firstly applied gesso on and then some rust paste & and aqua acrylic paints an waxes. On the word "march" I sprayed with some purple lindy's and then I applied some matte wax. 

As I said before I used two different Maja Design collections "Tropical Garden" & "Denim & Girls" this was such a fun color combination to create something with. I used a border punch for my purple sheet and layered the aqua & pink sheets on top of the purple one. 

I really love those word disks this one in particular I painted with different pink acrylic paints. I really love making flower clusters on my pages and use as much chipboard pieces as I can. To finish my layout I added some white spray & beautiful pearls. The photo was taken on my husbands & mine bithday on March 6th Abbey showing of her new dress.

 Goodmorning lovely friends, 

Today I give you some inspiration with the gorgeous "Our Story"collection by Celebr8 This collection has lot's of wonderful word strips like all the Celebr8 collections have. For this layout I used a picture of my darling cousin Jaime with her husband Weston & baby boy Phoenix. I just love the feel this picture gives and it was a great fit for this paper collection.

This Family was Created with Love:

The base of my layout consists of the beautiful "Textures" collection the leather sheet which is such a lovely fit for this collection. Then I cut one sheet in half and added them together in the opposite way after that I lifted the left half of my layout slightly with some foam tape.

 I added a clear gesso base on the upper sheets which is one now. I also used a stamp by Pascale Bernard that she designed for 49 and Market. Then I used a new stencil by "Studio Light" randomly on my page after that when it was not fully dried I added two embossing powders by: 
 "Lindy's Stamp Gang"
Byzantine Bronze Embossing Powder
Bratwurst Brown Embossing Powder
Then I used my heating tool to let it shine a little. 

All the flowers you see on this page are all handmade with my precious dies {love making flowers so much but it takes a lot of time} In the end I added some little elements that are in this gorgeous collection as well. And a couple of spray's by:

2 Cards for ***Scrap And Me*** Challenge #91 Card!!!

Hello my crafty friends, 

It's the 8th of the month and that means another challenge over at the ScrapAndMe blog. This time the challenge is create a card, well that's easy so I made two of them a blue/aqua one and a pink one. The pink one I made a little shaker box on with a older die by "Cheery Lynn Designs" with some glitter glass and sequins in it. And the blue/aqua one I used a window frame on I just love them. 

I always make two cards if I make cards because in former design teams that was a commitment to the team you where on. So that never left my side lol. It seems when I am planning to make cards I start with one but half way through I begin on the other one and the one I started with is the last one I finish.

If you combine blue and aqua it's not that hard to take a picture in some weird way. As you see I love to stitch on my work and I do that also with the cards I make. I really love the word strips in all the pterry ScrapAndMe collections.

I was so much in a flow with making these cards there is one other on my desk as I write this post using the pretty "Sunflowers" collection using my sunflower die that's in my stash forever {Cheery Lynn Designs}
