Summer Day Canvas June's Guest Designer for ***Mixed Media Academy*** + Playing at More Than Words!!!

 Goodmorning my lovely fans, 

Today I share with you a reversed canvas that I created especially for "Mixed Media Academy" as their June Guest Designer. I won their amazing April challenge and because I did, I got to be a guest this month and I really love the moodboard...As most of you know I am a sucker for beachy things like shells, starfish and so much more! So this was a blessing to make let's have a look at the moodboard first.

Beautiful right? I just love teal, aqua, turquoise and greens to created with.

For this canvas I used some Maja Design paper from the Nyhavn collection which I stitched.....yesssss I own a sewing machine again. The flowers are by the amazing 49 and Market & the chippies by The Dusty Attic. All the mixed Media goodies are by Finnabair & some sprays by Lindy's.

Summer Day:

On the background sheet I used one of my favorite stencils {that I could not find online for a while, then someone told me where to get it and now I have two omg lol} on top of that I added two mica powders with lots of water. On the green frames I added the gotic stencil after I treated it with liquid acrylics....

On the picture you see cute little Kevin who is not so little anymore where did the time go....I used two moulds here one of a starfish & one of a shell those are treated with waxes. The chipboards are treated with liquid acrylics and a little bit of spray.

As a finishing touch I added some art stones & wishing bubbles. This was a wonderful project to create I sure hope I have inspired you with my work.

With this canvas I will be entering this months challenge at More Than Words I have used a whole bunch of paints here on this canvas all are from Finnabair {almost the only paints I use nowadays} especially the liquid ones are amazing ;-) with my first entry for this challenge I told you that our SON is my big "hero"he is turning into such a wonderful man now he is 16 years of age and I can not wait untill he is older I bet I will be so proud of him at all ages....on this picture Kevin is around the age of 6 years but it seems like such a long time ago wow...

Our Beautiful Honey Layout Playing at ***Mixed Media Academy*** & ***Scrap And Me*** & ***13 Arts***!!!

Goodmorning lovely friends, 

I am longing for summer warmer nights, happy people & lots of sunshine. Spring is the next best thing new flowers little baby animals like cows, horses, bunnies & more. For this layout I was inspired by the gorgeous April mood board at both Mixed Media Academy & 13 Arts for the last one it was a challenge to not use pink as that is very easy when you have a picture of your little girl. So I went for yellows and minty teals {if that's a color lol} I have used two collections by 13 Arts named "Aura Rose" & "Aria Story"

I was very inspired my this months moodboard at Mixed Media Academy, I am normally not such a fan of the color yellow for my layouts but in combination with the minty teal I just loved it. I was also inspired by the flowers & buttons in this amazing moodboard. I ripped the two papers I used in pieces and then placed it on top off each other after that I added a stencil by finnabair called "Wild Berries"

The flowers on my layout are some older flowers by Prima Marketing and the other flowers are by 49 and Market. The beautiful boards lasercut chipboards you see are designed by the lovely Renea from Renea Bouquets I just love her amazing designs. Some of the beautiful boards lasercuts are not treated with anything but the frame underneath the picture is treated with some powder blue paste by finnabair and also the dragonflies you see in my layout are treated with the same paste.

Before I added the stencil I used some clear stamps on the background of my layout as some different lindy's sprays & mika powders. To finish my layout I added some art stones, sequins {the yellow ones are by 13 Arts} and some wishing bubbles in minty teal & grey. 

With this layout I will be entering three challenges the first one is at: 

Mixed Media Academy 

You had to use at least three colors from this amazing mood board I used the yellows, minty teals and grey.....I really loved the freshness of this moodboard.....

For me it's very easy to take out my pink papers and start to create a layout....so for my own challenge I did not use pink ;-) {that was pretty hard tho} For this challenge you had to use at least two colors from the board which I did....
