Abbey Jane Layout for Maja Design

Goodmorning sweet followers,

It's been ages since my last post and since I have been creative.

I have to tell you it feels so good ;-) to create again, I have a lot of inspiration luckily! So hopefully you will like my work the next view posts. This is my first layout I made with our precious little girl in the spotlights 'Abbey Jane' is her name and she was born on the 15th of July last year, so she is almost turning one. It's sad that due to the corona virus we have to keep it small but hey

she will not remember it anyways lol ....

Abbey Jane:

We feel very blessed that we have such a healthy little girl and she is a very happy baby,

we could not have wished for more {our little present}

For me this layout is kind of messy but it's my first one since a long time so I don't mind that it is. For this layout I used the beautiful "Denim and Girls" collection by Maja Design which I totally adore so more to come for sure. The chipboards are by The Dusty Attic and I painted and sprayed with different mediums. The background is purely made by using a stencil and some crackle paste. Alle the pretty flowers are by 49 and Market.

I am still figuring out how to make the best pictures with my phone still not getting it the way I want to, I think it's time for me to read the manual for once lol.....

but where do I have the time oh oh....because when I do have time I want to scrap. for this layout I used two of my favorite sheets, Ripped Jeans bs and Romantic Blouse:

Special Dream Layout Challenge #4 Butterflies for Craft Addiction and Maja Design

Goodmorning lovelies,

Today on my blog a layout that I made for a new design team I am on named Craft Addiction it's a Dutch store were the owner invited me to work with products from her store. It's the beginning of the month so there is a challenge going on at the Craft Addiction challenge site that you can find here ==> "Challenge Blog" <==
This is also my layout for "Maja Design" this Friday on their blog you will find the link on my right side bar at this blog. For my layout I used the uber pretty "Summertime"collection by of course Maja Design and also some amazing goodies from the Craft Addiction shop. The picture I used is from my cousin her daughter {my cousin is my age she was 17 when she gave birth to Nadene the beautiful lady in the picture} she got married last year and isn't she a beautiful bride?

Special Dream:

What I used from the store I will link down below at the end of my post. I find a challenge that has anything to do with butterflies really amazing because I really love butterflies. First I cut the edges of my cream sheet with a design scissors to make it curvy then I inked the edges and distressed it and placed it on top of the blue sheet.

Later on I sprayed randomly with some inks but before that I stamped with a new stamp {designed by the amazing Gabrielle Pollacco}that I got in my last DT box from 49 and Market. Then I took out my Dutch Doobadoo a5 metall stencil and added some paste on several spots on my layout. All the chipboard pieces I used are by Dusty Attic and treated with rusty powder/paste that you can also find in the store here ==> Craft Addiction Store <== awesome stuff I am so loving it.

Love This! First Layout for The Dusty Attic

Goodmorning everyone.

I am so excited to show you my first layout that I made for this wonderful design team.

Did you see this months gorgeous mood board? My layout was inspired by the colors in that very same board. I also really like the phrase that was used in it so I incorporated that in my layout as well. For my layout I used all Maja Design papers and Petaloo flowers but also some of the amazing acrylic paints that Dusty Attic offers...I am a hugh addict on the rust paste's by Finnabair so I used them on all my chipboard pieces on this layout.

To compliment the chipboard pieces I used here, I added some of the newer mechanicals metal embellishments mostly the hearts. The picture I used is on made back in 2010 during our vacation in Spain made by our son Kevin. Here I'll show you the mood board isn't it pretty.

Also I used some of the amazing stencils Dusty Attic has on this layout I used the Mini Heart Stencil and the Creative Script with the paste. I still feel like I am in seventh heaven being on this team. This is such a amazing mood board to be inspired by hopefully you are going to enter the challenge too.

I always print out my text on my computer on a piece of normal paper and later on I print it on the patterned piece of paper and then you can layer it on another paper like what I did here. Don't you just love the new tabs?
