Father and Daughter "A moment captured" for ***Maja Design***

Goodmorning lovely followers,
Today i'd like to share another layout with you all and again I used two pictures, one of my darling husband when he was just a little boy back in 1972 and one of our daughter in 2020. They both had the same cookie jar between there legs isn't that cute I just so adore both pictures that I had to use them on a layout.

A moment captured:
As I told you in one of my previous posts I like to use the opposite parts of my chipboards as I also did here next to my husbands picture you see the big part and then the barbwire that came out of that part. I used some ruste paste on my chipboard and later on some opal magic wax {Blue Velvet} it gives it a nice purple/blueish color just like my flowers.

On the background I added a Dusty Attic stencil and some spray by Lindy's {Sidewalk Chalk} my favorite spray. On the background of my white circle paper I added a text stamp and I used a flair in my flower cluster which I totally love to use on my layouts. I also gessod the word "captured"and the stamped on it with the same text stamp. For the finishing touch I added some purple wishing bubbles {oh my aren't they the cutest}

Maja Design papers used:
Nyhavn - Sitting at the dock & Celebration - Ephemera

I hope I have inspired you with this layout to create something beautiful and please do share your work with us on our Facebook site we always love to see your work. Have a blessed Tuesday and see you soon....

Happy Together Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Playing along with The Dusty Attic Mood Board!

Hi lovely followers,
I sure hope you are all making some vacation memories even in these weird times.
I was so happy that I got my Maja Design team box with this new amazing collection inside it, named "Miles Apart" it's just so gorgeous and it will be released on the 10th of August just six more days and you can play with it yeahhh :-)....I can't wait to see what you will all create with this amazing new line. Today i'd like to show you a layout I made with "Miles Apart" for this layout I used a picture of our two treasures Kevin & Abbey! I have to tell you all Kevin is just such a sweetheart to his little sister my heart melts when I see him playing with Abbey...

Happy Together:
I am so happy that as a creative team member of Maja Design I already get to play with it before the release, and I am sure you will love it too. For the background paper I used the Stay Creative sheet and on top of that I used Thinking of you sheet. That last one I distressed like crazy with water and my hands and when it was dry I added some background stamps and a Dusty Attic stencil. Then I added some Lindy's flat fabio spray {Chateau Rose} and some starburst spray {My Mojito Green}.

I also added some lace and cheesecloth do add dimension to my layout, to matt my picture I used the 6x6 paper pad....yes there is also a 6x6 pad yeahhhh :-) ! All the chipboard pieces are gessod and rust pasted at the end I used some paint also by the Dusty Attic and some finnabair waxes. And then came the favorite part of all adding my flowers I totally went overboard using four different packs of 49 and Market beauties. At the end I added a stamp {on my picture} and some metal pieces and art stones....

Maja Design papers used:
"Miles Apart": Close at heart, Thinking of you, Be safe, Stay creative and the 6x6 paper pad.
With this layout I will be playing along at the Dusty Attic Facebook page I totally love the mood board of the month July, right up my ally with the color scheme...look at how pretty it is:
I totally feel like a kid in a candy store sniffing the papers and going through every single sheet, and saying oeh and aahhhhh lol you must think I am nuts haha! Thank you so much for visiting the blog today and I hope you enjoyed looking at my work as much as I liked making it....have a wonderful week!

Moment Magique Layout for ***49 and Market*** & ***The Dusty Attic***!

Goodmorning lovelies,
Today I have a layout to share that I made with three different collections by 49 and Market. I wanted to follow a mood board with lovely yellow and blue tones and I had just the right color flowers & papers for it. For the blue base of my layout I used the Fresh Delivery sheet from the "Cottage Life" collection and on that sheet I added a script stencil. Then I took the upper & lower piece of the tattered clock sheet from the "Tattered Garden" collection and underneath of those seperate pieces I added the falling leaves sheet from the always pretty "Rusty Autumn" collection.

Moment Magique:
I also used some of the new laser cut sheets oh wow those are amazing to work with it adds so much to your work with less time fussy cutting although I love to fussy cut sometimes it very handy to have it already cut out on your scrap table.

I was inspired by this months moodboard at The Dusty Attic blog did you already enter? It's one of my favorite moodboards this year because it has bold colors and that makes me create outside my comfort zone for once....can't wait to see your creation have fun creating!

Timeless Girl Layout for ***49 and Market***!

Goodmorning lovely bloggers,
I am in love with the "Captured Adventures" collection did you use it jet? It is so versatile that you can make masculine but also very feminine layouts, cards and other projects with it. For today I have a feminine layout to share. The background consist out of two layers and on the first layer I added a stencil which has cross stripes on it and above the stripes I added some words then on the second layer I stamped with a couple of stamps including a stitch stamp.

Timeless Girl:
On the ripped parts of my top layer I places a chipboard zipper. All the chipboard peices are treated with gesso and rust effect paste...I am addicted to the amazing flowers by 49 and Market and therefore I always have several flower clusters on my layouts.
