Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year Cards for ***Maja Design***

 Goodmorning sweet Friends,

Lately I have the baddest luck with all my electronics in my house ughhh, programs on it not working and much more! Today I would like to share two cards I made with the lovely newest " Traditional Christmas " collection. I am not such a cardmaker but when I received this pretty collection I had to make me some cards.....loving those gnomes so much.

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year Cards:On my cards I used a whole bunch of dies because I love making flowers with the same kind of papers I am using at that time. I really had fun making these. The cards are tall they have a size 19 cm by 11 cm....that size is my favorite to work with! First I made the flowers and then added all the dies in the composition I'd liked then I took my glue gun and put everything into place.

If you make your flowers yourself you can add a lot of demension to your cards but the don't fit in a regular envelope lol....I also love adding straws to my cards.

For the phrases on the cards I just used the strips on the bottom of the 12 by 12 sheets. Marie just adds so many nice phrases there to used on your works.

Maja Design papers used: Santa's Elves-bs, Family gathering, Singing carols-bs, Peace and joy and the 6 by 6 paperpad.

Cute as a Button Layout for *** Maja Design ***

Goodmorning lovely followers,

I sure hope everything goes well with you all, Aren't you loving the "Miles Apart" collection as much as I do? It's so shabby chic right up my ally. I have been fussy cutting my brains out lol. For this layout I used another precious picture of Abbey I just can't stop creating with pictures of her. This was a really easy and quick layout to make because I already did the fussy cutting part during my series I watch on tv. I wanted the picture to stand out in this layout that's why I kept it clean.....

Cute as a Button:

It was really fun to create this layout, I took half a sheet of the little things and placed a part of distance bsand placed it behind the first one to later on put it on the keeping busy sheet after I distressed it like a mad woman lol....those buttons you see on my layout are actually chipboard pieces that I altered is Maja Design paper.

On the background of my layout I added a stencil with golden crackle paste but before that I first stamped on it with Gabi's stoic stamp by 49 and Market. After that I sprayed some of my favorite Lindy's spray to soften up my layout. To make the phrases on my layout stand out a little more I used the black ones by The Dusty Attic and the phrase "The Ultimate Photo" I painted black.

After that I added some flowers by 49 and Market, wishing bubbles and some metal pieces with words on it to finish of my layout....and I stopped but it was hard because I wanted to add more lol.

Maja Design papers used: The little things, Keeping busy, Keeping busy-bs and Distance-bs

Thank you so much for being here with me today I hope I have inspired you to take out your Maja Design papers and create with them.....stay safe......

Capture this moment Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Playing with the September mood board at Dusty Attic!

Goodmorning lovely followers,

If you visit my blog regularly you know I love making layouts! I have wanted to scrap this picture for a while now but that mini princess is making it a little difficult to scrap sometimes and I have to find time {while she is sleeping} to create because I really need it. We went to a photographer to make this picture because I wanted one with the four of us in it to put on a canvas to hang on my wall and so we did and I am very happy with it....look at that masculine son of us isn't he handsome? I really love my little family <3

Capture this moment:

For this layout I used the pretty 'Celebration' collection and two sheets of the monochromes one of the Shades of Sofiero called white/sand and one of the Shades of Celebration called charcoal. On the background behind the pictures I used the monochromes I also used these for the flowers I made using the amazing dies by Cheery Lynn Designs which are still my favs. After having some computer problems {it crashed} oh boy how I dislike it when that happens I am back again....but due to these problems I missed two posts sorry for that....

The monochromes are amazing to make flowers with as I did in this layout...if I have time I will do a little tutorial on how to make the flowers in my layout they are super easy and quick to make. The chipboards are by The Dusty Attic and I treated them with just plain paint and some of them like the barb wire I treated with embossing powder. As you can also see in my layout I used some cheese cloth behind my picture and flowers.

To finish of my layout I added some stamps, art stones, wishing bubbles, and metal pieces and of course my favorite spray "Sidewalk Chalk" on my tittle I used some of the amazing rust paste by Finnabair. With this layout I entered in a moodboard challenge because the colors spoke to me and I knew exactly which papers I could use.

Maja Design papers used: Anniversary bs, You’re Invited, Ephemera bs, Mono Celebration-Charcoal bs, Mono White Sand

Love Always Layout for ***Maja Design***

Goodmorning my friends,

How nice of you to visit my blog, today I have another layout I made with the gorgeous Maja Design papers. For this layout I used three collections named 'Nyhavn', 'Little street Cafe' & the stunning new 'Miles Apart'....jet again I used a precious picture of mine of both our children {so much love I see when looking at it} that's why I named this layout Love Always....This was one of the first picture I took while Abbey had her eyes open so widely and looked straight into my camera...that I was so happy that I took it. Now Kevin likes to let me take pictures again yeah. I had so much fun creating this layout although yellow is not my favorite color to scrap I think it turned out pretty nice ;-)

Love Always:

First I used a Martha Steward punch to cut the upper part of my layout, I cut that out of the 'Sitting at the dock' & 'Stay Creative' sheets then I placed that on feeling good sheet. Then I added some twine and placed a circle on the middle of my layout. Later on I added a Dusty Attic stencil and some Lindy's sprays on my work.  I was inspired by last months mood board at the Facebook site from Dusty Attic. Let's have a closer look:

All the chipboards I used are by Dusty Attic I treated them with white gesso and some of the I embossed like most of the words, the others I gessod and ruste pasted them I was planning on using my wonderful dusty attic paint but it was all dried out sadly enough. So I treated it with waxes and spray.

And then comes the fun part adding my flowers that I selected for this layout they are all by 49 and Market. For the finishing touch I added some metal embellishments and some dress my craft sequins which I totally adore....and I added some white gesso on my flowers to make them a softer tone.

Maja Design papers used: Nyhavn - Sitting at the dock, Little street Cafe - Feeling good and the greens from Miles Apart - Stay Creative & Be Safe.

I hope you had fun reading my post and we do love to see your work created with the lovely Maja Design papers on the  Facebook site....Have a gorgeous day and I hope to see you soon....
