For this blog hop I created a 8x8 layout with the state my family lives in "Florida" {Sarasota}. My husband and I went there and took this picture in universal studios. This was even before Kevin was born {our son who is 11 years old now} It's been way to long since I have seen my granny, cousins, uncles and aunts I really need to go there I miss them like crazy.

Florida:
As you see I layered and distressed my work very much for this layout I used the pretty "Salvage District" collection by Prima Marketing with a little blue/green Maja Design touch for the flowers and accents.

To make my flower cluster more appealing I added some diamond gems in the centers and some bling as leaves also I added some shimmer spray on them.

True Love Layout for ***Creative Embellishments*** & ***Tresors de Luxe*** + Playing at Kaisercraft!

Good evening lovelies,
Today I would like to show you a layout I made with some pretty laces and fabric flowers that you can find in the Le Tresors de Luxe store. This layout was based on a sketch normally I just make my own designs but this time I just loved the sketch so much that I had to make it.
I went with the pretty papers by Kaisercraft and I used a bunch of Creative Embellishments chipboard pieces and Prima Marketing flowers that you can also find in the Le Tresors de Luxe store as Lucy also sells other beautiful products.

True Love:
So this layout is based on the sketch at Kaisercraft also you had to add a quote and as that manufacturer has amazing papers with all sorts of quotes on them that was not a hard task at all.
The picture is of hubby and I back in 2012 on our wedding day how does time fly right? We are almost married four years.
This is the sketch that my layout is based on:
KC april 16
Lovely right?

Do you see the pretty lace peaking through underneath my torn papers? It's a real fun way to add them to your layouts this way. Oh and not to mention I just LOVE those fabric flowers so so so much that I can't live without them lol.....

I used different collections by Kaisercraft but mostly the "Provincial" collection.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and I would like to thank you for your sweet comments every time! THANK YOU xox

Frozen Layout for ***Creative Embellishments*** April Challenge + Playing at Lindy's Stamp Gang!

Hello lovelies,
Oh boy where did March go? I just can't believe it's April already....sadly I was not chosen to be among the top 30 finalist at Graphic 45 but I will not give up that easy hehehe! One day maybe, but for now it will remain a dream {which is also something to look forward too right?}
Today I would like to show you a layout I made for the Monthly Challenge at "Creative Embellishments" this mood board totally got me inspired!
One of my first design teams I was on had to do with music {Scrap it with a Song} so this was not hard at all just take a look at the mood board.
lyrical_color_collage_music_cool_abstract_hd-wallpaper-594031
I was planing to make a layout with a black background for a long time now and I finally got to do it!
I am a hugh fan of "Within Temptation" I even went to a concert {that is a big deal for me because we don't do that often which is very sad I think} So I picked a title of one of my favorite songs of them "Frozen"! What inspired me on this board were the colors black, orange/yellow, pink, purple and the music notes so that is how I made my layout.

Frozen:
I also took a piece out of the lyrics in that wonderful song!
Tell me I'm frozen
What can I do?
Can't tell the reasons
I did it for you.
This was a really fum page to make and I think I am kind of hooked now working with a black background so you will see more of them in the future. Let's have a closer look:

The flowers are from a online store and came from somewhere in china they are really bright colored and I just soften them up with gesso, spray and snow. For the background I used a stencil, paste, stamp and spray.

If you don't know the song you could listen below:
Thank you so much for your visit and I can't wait to see your creations on the "Creative Embellishments"blog I sure hope you will play along this month.
Have a lovely and creative day!

When I looked at the blog of Lindy's Stamp Gang  I saw these amazing bright colors which where totally similar to the colors I used! How "fun" is that, they have a yummy color challenge this month. It was destined to be this way I guess...look at these colors oh wow.
 Lindy's Stamp Gang products used:
Spray's
Frenchy's Pink Pouf
Cotton Candy Pink
Twinkling Tinsel
Frozen Jack Frost
Sidewalk Chalk
Embossing powders:
Reindeer Moss Green
Oakleaf Olive

For this blog hop I made a 5,5 inch by 7,5 card which is large like most cards I make normally. I used the pretty "Nyhavn" Limited Edition collection by Maja Design.

Just Because:
It is really a nice product to work with it allows you to also make as much layers as you want too.
I always love to add and use much layers....On the sentiment I added some star dust stickles which gives it a nice touch. Let's have a closer look:

"Graphic 45 Design Team 2016 Audition"

Goodmorning lovelies,
Oh wow how I love dreaming to be on this amazing design team!
Since I can remember I am using Graphic 45 papers for different projects but mostly layouts. When I was scrolling through Facebook and the Graphic 45 blog I saw that the DT call was up and my heart jumped out off place for a bit hihihi...I know that the DT call is around by birthday every year so that was not a surprise but still very exciting.

2016 DT poster FINAL
***********************************
I really love all the new products of Graphic 45,
like the pretty window shadow boxes, ATC book boxes and all the staples not to forget the pretty new paper collections like: Gilded Lily {which is just beautiful},
Voyage Beneath the Sea"{which go great with some of the chipboard pieces on my other DT}, Enchanted Forest and Cityscapes.
But I have to admit I do love the older collections more that's why I really like that Graphic 45 is making the Deluxe Collector's Edition Packs.
Because that lets me play again with "A ladies diary", Once upon a springtime and hopefully they will make a Deluxe Collector's Edition Pack of my all time favorite collection "Olde Curiosity Shoppe"too.
It's not that I don't like their newer collections "REALLY BELIEVE ME" but I am a romantic scrapper and I totally love the softer toned papers sooo much, that is in conflict with my earlier remark about my favorite collection lol....
I am very excited about this design team call and hopefully you all like my work! And I will go through to the next round I just have to keep my fingers crossed.
**************************
This is my blogpost for the Graphic 45 Design Team 2016 Audition!
**************************
Project 1: using "Enchanted Forest"
"True Love Never Grows Old"layout
This layout I made today with the DT call in mind and as my work for Cheery Lynn Designs. This collection is truly beautiful I really love the colors and pretty designs. On the left I used a buckle which I absolutely adore to use. Let's have a closer look:

Project 2: using "Voyage Beneath the Sea"
"Imagine" card

This card I made for my DT work at Creative Embellishments. I wanted to use orange & aqua because I think that they look amazing together. I also didn't want to make the usual card with the pictures in this collection. I really wanted to make something different more like a spring card, that leaves you over to your own imagination kind of mysterious {hope that worked lol}
****************
Project 3: using "Mon Amour"
"Forever Mine"layout
This layout was also made for Cheery Lynn Designs and this time I didn't whetted & wrinkled my flowers I just curled them and added them on top of each other several times. For this layout I used a picture of hubby and I a while back in time. I really love the colors of this collection it's very romantic. Let's look closer:

Project 4: using "Olde Curiosity Shoppe"& "Sweet Sentiments"
"Wishing you Happiness" & "Now and Forever"tags
I made these tags out of Graphic 45 packaging! I always hoard them to use them later on for layouts or this time for these tags. As you can see I am also a hugh fan of Petaloo flowers! If you follow the Graphic 45 & Petaloo blog you know that they work together a lot which I think is wonderful.
****************
Project 5: using "Gilded Lily"
"Beautiful and Sweet Girl"layout
This layout I made for my Cheery Lynn Designs DT work {with in mind this DT call} so all the flowers are handmade with their beautiful flower dies! For this layout I used a couple of Graphic 45 metal pieces as you can see in the centers of my flowers and as a frame for the word "girl"! Also I used a little key in the upper right corner underneath my flower cluster "Oh how I love those pretty key's"Let's have a closer look:

I couldn't just send in just three sorry Diane, Charee, Aimee and the rest off the Graphic 45 staff.
***************
For the first round they asked us to show three projects and a tutorial! I wish I was as good in making a video as all of you are that are trying to make the team, but I have to say I am not! I do make tutorials but I only photo tutorials for now ;-) I would be so lucky, honored and happy to become one of Graphic 45's designers I think I will faint if it's me lol
This tutorial is not with Graphic 45 papers sorry!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and I wish all the other applicants the best of luck! I would also like to thank the Graphic 45 family for this wonderful opportunity..
Have a happy, scrappy and sunny day.....
