Don't you just love the new Denim & Friends collection by Maja Design? It totally rocks for me because of it's versatility...you can go masculine but also very feminine so for today I did the last one. I went for a girly spring card with a bunch of flowers, chipboard pieces and some shimmery embellishments. I took out the teal colors form the Denim & Friends collection to match my flowers which are by Petaloo & 49 and Market.
Spring Flower:
The chipboard pieces are treated with gesso, spray, paint and metallique wax. I took out a clear sheet and a script stencil by The Dusty Attic and added paste on the clear sheet then I lifted the outer border a little with foam tape. The text is a clear stamp by Joy and I also added a piece of ribbon and a flair {which I totally love to use btw}
The sequins are by "Dress My Craft" and are called play with green {but I think they look really teal tho}....this was a super fun card to make and I think I will make more of them. On the outer line paper I did some stitch like stripes to finish my card and at the end I added some sprays.
Dusty Attic Chipboard, Petaloo Flowers, 49 and Market Flowers, Stencil, Paste, Spray by Lindy's, Ribbon, Cheese Cloth, Cuts2luv Flair, Sequins, Ink and Stamp.
With this card I will be entering this months challenge at "Cuts2luv" this time I went for the pretty oranges in the moodboard and the embellishments "Stars" they are on my flair. Hope you like it...
Thank you for you visit today and I would like to wish you a wonderful & sunny weekend...
Today I have a layout to share but also some very important other stuff I have to announce some winners too yeahhh. For this layout I used two pretty Maja Design collections "Enjoying Outdoors" & "Summer Crush" because both collections had the colors that I wanted to use for it which are purple/pink/peachy tones. This time I used another picture of Camilla her precious twins singing like two little diva's. My post was for last Friday but I was really busy adding this video so I was not ready in time so I stole this Monday to post with approval of Camilla ofcours hihihi.
You Sparkle:
Oh this was such a fun layout to make I do have my favorite Maja Design collections and those are not on top of my list but I have to say I think now I will take them out more often. With my precious 49 and Market flowers it is easy to transform your layout in a flowers sea of gorgeousness. As you will see in my video I made this layout through out the day as the light changes during the movie. Have fun watching ;-)
Hope you enjoyed my second video ever thank you so much for watching now for the closeups:

On this layout I did some watercoloring but not with a brush but with a piece of plastic....the finishing touches that I have done on this layout are not in my video as I do intent to alter my layout when it is already finished {before I take my pictures}

Today I have another layout to share with you all and this time it's my last work for my design team spot at "CraftAddiction"! Thank you Nicole for having me on this wonderful team. I am stepping down from this team because I am on a couple of other wonderful design teams too, and it's getting to much to handle for me since I also work five day's a week. For this layout I used a bunch of mixed media products that you can find in the CraftAddiction online store. This layout was made with the pretty "Seaside Cottage" collection by the "Blue Fern Studios. I used several of the new flowers collections by 49 and Market. The chipboard pieces are by Wycinanka & Dusty Attic and I treated them with gesso, paste, different waxen, spray's and arylic paints.
Remember that Summer:
The background sheet has such a gorgeous watercolor pattern that I totally fell in love with it when I saw it, that I had to have it to make another beach layout. First I pimed the background with clear gesso, then I added some golden crackle paste {oh men I love that stuff}. I placed the crackle paste on different spot's on my layout to make it look like sea foam.
After adding the paste I used some stamps on my background and later one a stencil by TCW designed by Gabrielle Pollacco. Then I made a little scenery to look like my husband is taking pictures of our son. Then I worked on my chipboard pieces that took me a little longer then normal because of me adding more spray's, waxes and acrylic paints until I thought it fitted my layout and the colors on the background.
On the ships wheel I added some screw brads to make it pop a little because I placed it underneath my picture. Then I added some different sizes of the 3D balls they give your work such a nice demension at the end I added my flowers & shells and some Lindy's spray!
With this layout I will be enting this months challenge at "More Than Words" they yet again have a marvelous moodboard/word challenge for the month July so I thought why not play again this month. Let's have a look at this awesome picture:
Other products used:
Blue Fern Studio's papers, 49 and Market Flowers, Cheese cloth, Flair's by Cuts2luv, Lindy's Stamp Gang Spray's, Finnabair waxes and acrylic paints, 3D Matte Gel, Paste, Stencil, Stamps. Shells, Embossing powders.
With this layout I will also be entering this months challenge at "Cuts2luv" they always have a moodboard/sketch & elements board this time it is another pretty one. And I used pretty much everything on this element board except the word "YOU". I also arched the sketch 90 degrees vertical, let's look at the board:
And for my third entry I will show you this amazing blog if you haven't heard from it yet:
"Mixed Media and Art" on this blog it's all about mixed media and since I am more into that at the moment I thought why not enter right? This months challenge is create you own background and use letters/words so that is what I did ;-) Let's look at the challenge board:
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and I hope you enter my give away in the link on top of this post! Have a blessed and happy weekend....hugs xox
