September Challenge at ***Once Upon A Sketch*** {using one of my DT layout's for Imaginarium Designs}

Hi everyone,

In my part of the world it's 10:30 PM when writing this post!

I just had to get it done before I went to bed :-)))

Last month I was to late entering the gorgeous sketch but that's not going to happen this time.

"Once Upon A Sketch"

 Journalling Theme: Open theme...with a twist

For this month's challenge, you can scrap about any theme BUT you need to include your own handwritten journalling on your page!

You are free to interpret our theme ANY WAY you like. Whilst the theme is open, you MUST base it on the sketch below and include your HANDWRITTEN journalling ON YOUR PAGE. Acceptable journalling is MORE than just a sentence, or generic writing such as date/place etc. It needs to be present and at least 3 lines long.

I normally do very romantic shabby style layout's but not this time although I had a hard time not adding flowers of some kind!

For this layout I used the NEW "Wild Card"collection by BoBunny with a picture of my dad in 1973 five years before I was born. My dad loves to play chess so that's why I used them on this layout.

I think my dad looks very handsome on this picture almost like a model, when I was growing up he never wanted my bothers or me to take pictures of him so this picture I will treasure as long as I live.

A little closer: 

The theme was to use your own handwriting on you layout and so I did! I wrote something for my dad in Dutch around the outer side of my layout!

About him being the best dad ever xox

September 2014 Challenge 17 at ***Scrap Around the World***

This month I'm the host of the mood board at Scrap Around the World 

I'm very excited to be & hope you all will enter because there are amazing prizes to be won!

Her work is always shabby & romantic so it's no surprise that her mood board

 is so fantastically feminine!  There is still plenty to be inspired from for a masculine

 take though - just think metal, filigree & embossing & of course - cogs & gears!! 

This is my take one the mood board: 

 I couldn't help using BoBunny papers again the flowers are totally handmade I hope to do a tutorial on the SATW blog very soon!

A Journal for ***Tresors de Luxe***

Happy Wednesday everyone,

Today I would like to share a journal I've made for Tresors de Luxe....

I layered some gorgeous lace, and finished it of with my handmade flower which I'm totally hooked on at the moment! 

I'll try & post a tutorial asap here on my blog!

Everyday life layout for ***BoBunny***

Hi ya all,

I hope you are enjoying your Sunday,  I will spent my Sunday creative & with my lovely family.

Today I would like to share a mixed media layout made with the gorgeous "Happy Trails" collection by BoBunny!

It's already up on the BoBunny blog ==>here<== 

I'm really into mixed media at the moment & that's awesome because BoBunny released some awesome mixed media products: like pasts, pearl accents, stencils & sprays to work with!

But for this layout I had to go with some older non BoBunny inks, spays, pasts & stencils because I haven't received my DT box jet, customs is hating my name & picked my box out of the bunch again so I have to wait a little longer with before I can play! My hands are itching to get dirty hehe.

Fur Ever Friends: 

Everyday the four of us talk a hugh walk in the near by park our puppy Fibi is loving those walks because she can walk without a leech!

I'm into making fabric flowers at the moment the top layer of the flower with the paw print center I made myself it's super easy I will try & post a tutorial on my blog asap.

DT work for Imaginarium Designs! Playing with Prima Marketing BAP challenge & challenge 146-Doilies {CLD}

Happy Saturday everyone,

Today I would like to share a layout I've created for my DT work for Imaginarium Designs!

I will also be entering Prima's Build-A-Page challenge this time I really loved the sketch designed by the very talented  Jennifer Snyder!

I've used the soft pink papers {and lace black paper from the Lyric collection which is my fave} from the pretty "Delight" collection & tons of metal embellishments.
