My Family 8x8 Layout

Hi everybody,
Hope you are all having a happy Saturday!
Today I want to share a layout with you.
I'm really into pasting and misting at the moment....
And I'm loving my Cheery Lynn Designs dies so much I could kiss them all day (lol)
Cheery Lynn Designs has got me thinking outside the box which I really appreciate.
I'm totally hooked on making 8x8 layouts.
So today I have another one to share.

My Family
I adore using the gears so much. This time I left the cut-outs in my gear dies.
For this layout it looked better that way, something else I did different I cut them out of a piece of cardboard! That way they are thicker.
I did a lot of pasting on my layout and some glimmer misting.
The picture is a favourite of mine. I don't own so many old pictures but this one is very dear to me.
It's one of my grandfather (Arthur), my grandmother (Anna), my uncle (Evert) and my mom (Gerla) many year ago. On December 19th my mom turns 60.
My grandfather died in 2003 and my grandmother and uncle live in Florida.
I miss them very much.
now some close-ups:

A Snowy Day Layout for Cheery Lynn Designs

Happy Saturday,
Today I have a wintery layout to show you which I made with one of BoBunny's new collections.
I wanted to used my new snowflakes dies so badly! I'm very happy how it turned out.
I love wintertime very much do you?
If it snows it gives such a serene peace, I love the sound of snow breaking underneath my boots.
Well what's not to love, maybe the rain part lol.

My boy on a snowy day
I did some mixed media on the background of my paper and if you look closely you see some fake now on my blue flowers.

Pretty Girl 8x8 Layout

Hi everybody,

Are you all enjoying your week so far? Hope you are!
Today I want to share a soft layout with you all.
I can't help myself those papers attract me the most.
I used two of the new releases on my layout this time and a whole bunch more.

Pretty Girl

Cheery Lynn Designs dies used:
B373 - Siena Double Edge Border (new October release)
DL266 - Dripping Butterfly (new October release)

I added some golden gel medium (crackle paste) to make some damask pieces on my paper.
I layered four pieces off paper on my layout, the beautiful Siena Double Edge Border I cut in half to add on either side of my blue paper.
As for the flower centres I used some stamens white and light pink.
I have to tell you I'm in love with my Script die, it makes such pretty letters.
The Dream Catcher I split up and used the feathers as leaves and the upper part as a doily.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, I hope you all like my layout and I hope I've inspired you to make one yourself.
