Seize the Imperfection Tags Playing at ***Mixed Media Place*** & ***More Than Words Mini Challenge***!

 Hello lovely bloggers,

It's so nice to see you here today, this time I would like to share some mixed media tags that I especially created for two challenge sites. I am so much in love with the moulds by Finnabair & Prima Marketing that I just bought two of them with my birthday money. For these tags I used both moulds "Grungy Frames"and "Numerals"....I created the tags with Maja Design papers of two collections "Traditional Christmas" & "Denim and Friends"! The flowers are off course by 49 and Market. I call them my "Seize the Imperfection" tags and that's because I am not a perfect mould maker, since it's my first time using it...

Seize the Imperfection:

Lately I am creating a lot of tags that I am out of my {Graphic 45 packaging stash} Ohhhh what to do now need to buy more scrap stuff lol hahahaha. Do you see those dragonflies?? They are by the amazing Renea from Renea Bouquets she is such a talented designer I am in love with her products.

With these tags I am entering two challenges the first one is at Mixed Media Place they have a gorgeous moodboard where you had to use Turquoise and Red and so I did.

The second challenge I am going to enter is the Mini Challenge over at the More Than Words blog where the word is * SEIZE *
I hope you I have enjoyed you with my post and I would like to wish you a wonderful day, night and a whole lot more....hug!

Feminine Tags for ***Maja Design*** + Playing at More Than Words Mini Challenge!

Goodmorning lovelies,
Are you loving the new "Celebration" collection by Maja Design as much as I do? What I love about it, is that it has some black/grey sheets in it. Today I would like to show you four mixed media tags I made with the black/grey & pink papers. I also used the pictures in the collection, something I don't do very often & some older Prima Marketing flowers that I had in my stash for some time now and some of 49 and Market. And of course some Dusty Attic chipboards.....

I'm Crazy About You / Beautiful Day:

The size of the tags are 10 cm by 15 cm and I cut the patterned at 4 cm and the other part 6 cm.
Then I stamped on there with two different background stamps by Creative Embellishments after that I sprayed with two Lindy's sprays to soften the black a little then I added a stencil and some cheese cloth. I was also inspired by our mood board for this and next month hope you are to and play along.

Wander / Make a Wish:

Maja Design papers used: Celebration 6x6 paper pad.
With this tags I will be entering this months beautiful & feminine challenge at the Mixed Media & Art blog. I really love this amazing moodboard that I had to enter again for these tags I was inspired by the pink tones and girly....but also the pretty white & pink flowers.

Sandy Toes Layout for ***49 and Market*** + at Mixed Media & Art January Mood Board!

Hi there again,
Did you visit the 49 and Market shop? No? You must, there are a bunch of amazing new products that they added for you to look at. You would be amazed. Today I'd like to show you another layout and this time I have to warn you in advance it's very pink hihihi. I thought since it's so cold at were I live why not make a beach themed layout this time to feel a little warmer. For this layout I used the always pretty Sand and Sea collection.

Sandy Toes:
On the background sheet I added clear gesso and then some white gesso, then I whiped with a baby whipe to let the background color come through. Then I stamped the script stamp randomly around my sheet. After that I added two dusty attic stencils to my background sheet. I also randomly added tears and behind those tears I placed a sheet from the cottage life collection.

49 and Market products used: Sand and Sea: Down Under, 8x8 Cottage Life Paper Pad, Blossoms Blends: Watermelon, Garden Seeds: Watermelon, Floral Mixology: Mojito, Some of the older vintage sades flowers and Gabi's Postcard from Paris Stamp Set.

With this layout I will be entering the amazing dreamy challenge of January at the Mixed Media & Art blog. I was inspired by the sketch, the pink colors and the pretty flowers...I love this mood board so much that I maybe will enter again....drool.
Other products used: Dusty Attic chipboard, Stencils, Paste, Lindy’s Stamps Gang sprays and embossing powders, Stamps, Mica Powders, Cheese Cloth, Rust Paste, Clear gesso, Gesso white, Ink, Waxes.

You are the best FATHER ever Layout for ***49 and Market*** and Playing at ***More Than Words*** & ***Mixed Media & Art***!

Hello lovelies,
For today I am sharing another 12x12 layout but this time it´s a masculine one, I find making those very hard because I really like to use flowers on my work especially when they are from 49 and Market. When I saw this months challenge over at More Than Words "steampunk & father" I was sold and wanted to create a layout using a picture of my husband and son. For this layout I used three collections "Flower Fairies of Spring", "Vintage Artistry" and "Scents of Nature"and a whole bunch of chipboard pieces by The Dusty Attic and metal embellishments like gears, clocks and hearts.

Your are the best FATHER ever:
I had so much fun creating this layout but it took me a long time to make it. Normally it takes me five hours to complete a layout this one took me eight I think it's because there is so much chipboard on it that I had to make steampunk and aged. The pictures are from about seven years ago taken on the beach in my country.

Up in the right corner I aged a prima rasin frame with the amazing new waxes by Finnabair oh boy how I love that stuff and it smells very good too. When I treated my gears corner I placed it on a blue colored sheet from the "Scents of Nature"collection because I wanted to add more color. When I think of steampunk I always think about the colors black, orange and brown but you can add all colors you prefer any color looks amazing on a steampunk layout.

I took out a whole bunch of metal embellishments that I all used on my work, at the end of my creating I added some micro beads and some prills. But before that I stamped on the edges of my layout to later on distress it. Two days ago I bought a whole bunch of new metal goodies for really cheap that I used it right away on my layout.

49 and Market products used: Flower fairies of spring: At the Quarry Sheet, Vintage Artistry: Tattered Sheet, Scents of Nature: Beauty Abound, Floral Mixology Mudslide / Ocean Breeze and Emerald Isle, Gabi's Grunge Texture Stamp Set, Gabi's Crackle Texture Stamp Set, Gabi's Patterned Texture Stamp Set.

Other products used: Dusty Attic chipboard, Stencils, Paste, Rust Paste, Lindy’s Stamps Gang sprays and embossing powders, Stamps, Mica Powders, Metallique wax, Antique wax, Clear gesso, Gesso black & white, Ink.

With this layout I will be entering this months challenge at the More Than Words blog, the challenge is all about Father & Steampunk. I find it hard to make layouts like this expecially when they are without flowers....so I did added flowers I just could not help myself *grin*. Let's have a look at their beautiful mood board:
Also I will be entering this months challenge at the Mixed Media and Art blog where the also have an amazing mood board that is very similar to the mood board above with lots of yellow {but I did not use yellow sorry but I used the sketch in a different way. Let look at their challenge board:
Thank you so much for your visit today I hope you enjoyed my post and are inspired by it to use your 49 and Market goodies… have a lovely day and weekend.
