July 15 at Sea 30 by 10 canvas playing at ***Mixed Media Place*** & ***Lindy's Stamp Gang***!!

  Goodmorning my lovely friends, 

Today I am here with you to share another mixed media panel {canvas} and again I used a 30cm by 10cm and I placed it on the side. When I was visiting the mixed media place blog I saw this gorgeous soft toned beachy moodboard which I really loved so I had to enter {but little did I know I only had two days left to enter} so I went strait to my scrappy room and started playing. Also the pretty June color challenge at the Lindy's Stamp Gang  was very similar in colors so I thought why not combine the two so I did. For this canvas I used a picture of our sweet Abbey on the beach looking for sea shells.

July 15 at Sea: 

This was such a fun canvas to create I could not stop adding layers it was that Abbey woke up that I had to stop lol. In the end I added some art stones & mica flakes. 

I have used the tree branches mould designed by Sharon Ziv from Prima Marketing and the Treasures of the Seas mould by Zuri. Also some amazing chipboard pieces by 2Crafty & flowers from 49 and Market.

Sweet Memories Layout for ***ScrapAndMe***!!!

 Hello Sweet Friends! 

Can you believe we are almost at the end of June already?? Wow time goes by so fast, for today I have another layout to share and this time with the beautiful new "Spring Purple" collection. I have to say I really love this one as purple is my favorite color but I almost never make layouts in that color! I have used a picture of Kevin & Abbey where he is learning her to blow at a dandelion. 

Sweet Memories:  

Behind my picture I added a shaker box I have never done that before like this just on a card. In the shaker box I added glitter glass & angel mix sequins. I stitched around the edges of my page and around the shaker box. Then I made a frame with a die and the new papers and added crystal drops. 

On the background around the picture I added a lace stencil. The flowers are fabric ones and I used some cheesecloth & jute behind them to give them more dimension. 

In the end I added some wishing bubbles, spray & text strips from the "Sunflowers"collection on which I made faux stitches with my white gel pen.

True Love Story 30 by 10 canvas playing at ***Finnabair June 2022 Art Recipe ***!!

 Hello my lovely friends, 

Today I am here with you to share another mixed media panel {canvas} this time it's a 30cm by 10cm and I placed it on the side. For this one I took a picture of my great grandfather & mother I really love the way the photo was taken nowadays this would not be taken like this. I used some of Anna her techniques that I learned from her class last week but with my own twist to it. I will be entering the June Art Recipe at the Finnabair blog!

True Love Story: 

I found quite a challenge to only use shades of green but at the end I really love how it turned out. I have used different metal embellishments I will list them below as some moulds by finnabair & prima marketing. 

I have used tissue paper that I wrinkled on the background but I painted it so you can't really see it anymore, later on I added a stencil. I matted my photo with some of the vellum journaling pad "Vintage Stories"
