Me at 45 1st Layout for ***Graphic 45***!!!

Hello my lovely friends,
Today I am here to show you my first layout as a brand ambassador for Graphic 45. I still can't believe I am on their design team. For this layout I have used a golden oldy and my favorite collection they have ever made "Olde Curiosity Shoppe"! Back in the day's and even now I am a huge fan of soft toned papers and shabby chic and vintage stuff like lace, flowers, pinks & blues. But when I won the "Olde Curiosity Shoppe" on the Grapic 45 blog I was in love right away although the colors are not really up my ally if you know what I mean.

Me at 45 {love my work}

Me at 45! {it’s a bit ambiguous} I turned 45 on march 6th & me at Graphic 45.
For this layout I used three pictures, one of me and two of my work place. I have worked as an optician since 2014 and love my job. Before that I also worked in an optic store {the same one} but I couldn’t measure eyes and I went to school to make that dream come true.

The pictures are all in frames that I made with molds and treated with paints, ink and waxes.

On the background of my layout I added the Graphic 45 “Script & Argyle Stamp” and a stencil then I stitched around the edges which is my signature on almost every layout I make.

I also used a couple of metal embellishments on my layout, some older and some newer. The black flowers are from the rose bouquet collection and are still available in the graphic 45 store. I also added a small glass bottle next to my picture with little screws & nuts in it that I use at my job on a daily basis.

In the end I added some micro beads with screws &

nuts on a couple of places throughout my layout and also some bigger pearls near or on the flower clusters. I also added a couple of butterflies which I placed on top of each other to give them more dimension.

Graphic 45 products used:

Other products used:
Moulds, Ink, Waxes, Stencil, Screws, Nuts, Glass bottle, Flowers, Metal pieces, Jute cord, Micro beads,

I hope you enjoyed my post & layout as much as I love creating them.
Stay happy & creative, much

Our Sweet Girl Layout with Photo Tutorial for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!

 Hello fellow creative souls,

I am so excited that you are here with us today as it's my turn to bring you some inspiration. For this occasion I created a layout with a bunch of beautiful 2Crafty Chipboard pieces. All the chipboard pieces are treated in different ways like embossing, spraying and waxing. The flowers are handmade with some awesome dies and the picture I used is of our pretty little girl.

Our Sweet Girl:

2Crafty Chipboard used:

9" Steampunk Border
Our Sweet Girl Title
Hinges Pack
Fern Leaf Set
Mini Title Stick Set 1
Freda's Butterflies
Mini Word Set 2
Mini Title Stick Set 3

Firstly I coated the chipboard pieces with a layer of white gesso, then I took the 9" Steampunk Border, the hinges and the word adore and layered them with a coat of black gesso. Then I treated those same pieces with two different waxes and then I ramdomly added some acrylic paint with a tiny brush on them.

The ferns I sprayed three time to cover them nicely then I used my heat gun to let it dry a little faster. Then I randomly added some green acrylic paint with a paper towel so you get it a little on even as I like.

Behind the butterflies I added some paper from the collection I used but before I did that I coloured them with both of the pink sprays you see in picture two. Then I used some clear embossing powder since I wanted them in the pink color. The phrase I used is only treated with some blue spray as you see on picture one.

Thank you so much for your visit today. And I sure hope that I have inspired you to take out your lovely 2Crafty Chippies and create and have fun while doing so. Have a blessed & sunny upcoming week!

You are the best FATHER ever Layout for ***49 and Market*** and Playing at ***More Than Words*** & ***Mixed Media & Art***!

Hello lovelies,
For today I am sharing another 12x12 layout but this time it´s a masculine one, I find making those very hard because I really like to use flowers on my work especially when they are from 49 and Market. When I saw this months challenge over at More Than Words "steampunk & father" I was sold and wanted to create a layout using a picture of my husband and son. For this layout I used three collections "Flower Fairies of Spring", "Vintage Artistry" and "Scents of Nature"and a whole bunch of chipboard pieces by The Dusty Attic and metal embellishments like gears, clocks and hearts.

Your are the best FATHER ever:
I had so much fun creating this layout but it took me a long time to make it. Normally it takes me five hours to complete a layout this one took me eight I think it's because there is so much chipboard on it that I had to make steampunk and aged. The pictures are from about seven years ago taken on the beach in my country.

Up in the right corner I aged a prima rasin frame with the amazing new waxes by Finnabair oh boy how I love that stuff and it smells very good too. When I treated my gears corner I placed it on a blue colored sheet from the "Scents of Nature"collection because I wanted to add more color. When I think of steampunk I always think about the colors black, orange and brown but you can add all colors you prefer any color looks amazing on a steampunk layout.

I took out a whole bunch of metal embellishments that I all used on my work, at the end of my creating I added some micro beads and some prills. But before that I stamped on the edges of my layout to later on distress it. Two days ago I bought a whole bunch of new metal goodies for really cheap that I used it right away on my layout.

49 and Market products used: Flower fairies of spring: At the Quarry Sheet, Vintage Artistry: Tattered Sheet, Scents of Nature: Beauty Abound, Floral Mixology Mudslide / Ocean Breeze and Emerald Isle, Gabi's Grunge Texture Stamp Set, Gabi's Crackle Texture Stamp Set, Gabi's Patterned Texture Stamp Set.

Other products used: Dusty Attic chipboard, Stencils, Paste, Rust Paste, Lindy’s Stamps Gang sprays and embossing powders, Stamps, Mica Powders, Metallique wax, Antique wax, Clear gesso, Gesso black & white, Ink.

With this layout I will be entering this months challenge at the More Than Words blog, the challenge is all about Father & Steampunk. I find it hard to make layouts like this expecially when they are without flowers....so I did added flowers I just could not help myself *grin*. Let's have a look at their beautiful mood board:
Also I will be entering this months challenge at the Mixed Media and Art blog where the also have an amazing mood board that is very similar to the mood board above with lots of yellow {but I did not use yellow sorry but I used the sketch in a different way. Let look at their challenge board:
Thank you so much for your visit today I hope you enjoyed my post and are inspired by it to use your 49 and Market goodies… have a lovely day and weekend.
