Family Heritage Layout May Mood Board for ***Maja Design***

Goodmorning everyone,
Today there is a new moodboard life at the Maja Design blog and it's a pretty one again with lovely soft pink tones and very femini elements. I also used the saying in this mood board and a picture of Camilla her mom with her cute daughters. For this layout I used the "Summertime"collection but only the pink/red parts of the collection. I also added some of the words that are written at the bottom of the moodboard.

Family Heritage:
I treated the chipboards with acrylic paints by the Dusty Attic and then I used some of the amazing waxes by finnabair. The flowers are from 49 and Market and so fit with the colors of my layout. The backgound I treated with with distress ink {victorian velvet} and then I stamped with a script stamp to later on add a stencil with paste.
Let's have a look at the mood board: it al has to do with family....
This one was so in my comfort zone that it was made very quickly....normally one layout will take me five or six hour to create but this one took me less. Lets have a closer look:

Tropical State of Mind Layout for ***Maja Design*** & ***The Dusty Attic***!

Goodmorning sweeties,
Welcome to this lovely today, I am back after being sick with a nasty flue for more then three weeks and I am dreaming to have some warmer weather so for today I made a a summerthis our
layout with one of Camilla {from Maja Design} her daughters on their vacation to Italy last summer. For this layout I used this months mood board colors with the gorgeous "Enjoying outdoors" collection. I also used some of the fancy clocks from the clock sheet from the "Vintage Autumn Basics" collection through out my layout.

Tropical State of Mind:
I just love the way Camilla takes her pictures most of the time when her girls don't see it. The chipboards I used are treated with gesso, rust effect paste military set and antique brilliance amethyst magic both by finnabair. All the flowers are by 49 and Market. I got the idea of using my chipboards like this by our very own Tina {thank you for your amazing talent xox}

I used some of the amazing new background 49 and Market stamps 1787 & Flowery Tile designed by our very own Pascale on the Flourishing bs sheet. they I took out my fishnet stencil by Dusty Attic to add on several places on my layout. Underneath my picture & flowers clusters I added some cheese cloth.

After I treated my background I added three horizontal papers strips from the picking flowers sheet and placed the on the top, bottom and just above the bottom to get a flow in my design. And at the end I added some 3d balls and some shells to finish this layout.

Feminine Tags for ***Maja Design*** + Playing at More Than Words Mini Challenge!

Goodmorning lovelies,
Are you loving the new "Celebration" collection by Maja Design as much as I do? What I love about it, is that it has some black/grey sheets in it. Today I would like to show you four mixed media tags I made with the black/grey & pink papers. I also used the pictures in the collection, something I don't do very often & some older Prima Marketing flowers that I had in my stash for some time now and some of 49 and Market. And of course some Dusty Attic chipboards.....

I'm Crazy About You / Beautiful Day:

The size of the tags are 10 cm by 15 cm and I cut the patterned at 4 cm and the other part 6 cm.
Then I stamped on there with two different background stamps by Creative Embellishments after that I sprayed with two Lindy's sprays to soften the black a little then I added a stencil and some cheese cloth. I was also inspired by our mood board for this and next month hope you are to and play along.

Wander / Make a Wish:

Classic Milestone Layout January/February Moodboard ***Maja Design*** & ***The Dusty Attic*** + Playing at More Than Words!

Hi my sweet followers,
Today I am back with a layout that I created as a present for my parents in law their 50th wedding anniversary last November {I know....a little later then I expected it to be ready}. For this layout I used the uber pretty NEW "Celebration"collection it's so much more pretty in real life. It's has beautiful darker colors and amazing new prints so it's a keeper for sure. I used a picture of my parents in law dated 50 years back aren't they a cute couple and they still are totally in love. On the background piece I added some stamps and a little heart stencil followed by some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.

Classic Milestone:
The flowers I used are some older ones by 49 and Market still the best flowers ever made by any company and the chipboard pieces are by The Dusty Attic I colored them with waxes, gesso, ruste paste and on the beaded chains I added nuvo crystal drops {antique rose}. On the loop borders I firstly added some acrylic paint from Dusty Attic befor I added the wax

This layout was based on this months moodboard at the Dusty Attic & Maja Design blog I combined them because they look very similar. The one from the Dusty Attic was with some amazing gold tones just like the Maja Design one only on that one there was a little pink/purple colors so I added that on my layout as well. Let's have a look at the moodboards:
It's the 10th year anniversary at Maja Design that is why this collection came out and it's gorgeous as I said before I really love this moodboard too don't you think so too?
