Tropical State of Mind Layout for ***Maja Design*** & ***The Dusty Attic***!

Goodmorning sweeties,
Welcome to this lovely today, I am back after being sick with a nasty flue for more then three weeks and I am dreaming to have some warmer weather so for today I made a a summerthis our
layout with one of Camilla {from Maja Design} her daughters on their vacation to Italy last summer. For this layout I used this months mood board colors with the gorgeous "Enjoying outdoors" collection. I also used some of the fancy clocks from the clock sheet from the "Vintage Autumn Basics" collection through out my layout.

Tropical State of Mind:
I just love the way Camilla takes her pictures most of the time when her girls don't see it. The chipboards I used are treated with gesso, rust effect paste military set and antique brilliance amethyst magic both by finnabair. All the flowers are by 49 and Market. I got the idea of using my chipboards like this by our very own Tina {thank you for your amazing talent xox}

I used some of the amazing new background 49 and Market stamps 1787 & Flowery Tile designed by our very own Pascale on the Flourishing bs sheet. they I took out my fishnet stencil by Dusty Attic to add on several places on my layout. Underneath my picture & flowers clusters I added some cheese cloth.

After I treated my background I added three horizontal papers strips from the picking flowers sheet and placed the on the top, bottom and just above the bottom to get a flow in my design. And at the end I added some 3d balls and some shells to finish this layout.

"Graphic 45 2018 Brand Ambassador Audition"

Goodmorning lovelies,
I am so excited it's that time again that Graphic 45 is having a call for designers.
Graphic 45 was one of the first papers I got to design with a long time ago.
I think I am with them from the beginning of their brand {oh so exciting} For this call I made this mini album with one of their newest collections called "Floral Shoppe" which has very bold colors. I am normally scared of the bold colors but with this one I wasn't....this was my second album ever made all made from imagination. Normally I make scrapbook layouts more then off the page items so I was very happy that it turned out the way I wanted it to be.

Remember Today Mini Album:
The flowers I used are by another brand I design for and the fit perfectly with these amazing papers also I added some chipboard pieces through out the album which are also from another design team. I feel very blessed with the design teams I currently design for but I would be over the moon to be part of your design team.

I also have a little video from the inside of the album that you can see below hope you like my album as much as I liked making it!

As I said before I am a hugh fan of making layouts so for this call I also made a video tutorial of this layout made with my all time favorite collection ever designed by Graphic 45....
"Olde Curiosity Shoppe"!

It is some what a darker video because i was creating at night...

Optician since 2014:
A long time ago I won this amazing collection on the Graphic 45 blog although I hoped for another collection. I was really happy to get this one it wasn't love at first sight but when I saw it had to do with my work as a optician I totally loved it.

I made this layout with the collection I won but I also added some seperate sheets that someone was selling online. As you see I love layering on my work for this layout I also used strips of the sheets that I didn't have as a whole one.

All the butterflies I used I cut out while watching my favorite serie on netflix....that is so easy and I do that all the time. I got the idea for the butterlies on top of my head from something I saw online somewhere not sure where tho....

I also used a lot of metal on my layout some Graphic 45 and some other pieces....in the pocket watch underneath the left side of the picture I even added some screws we use at work. The chipboards are treated with gesso, waxes and acrylic paints. I have been working in a optic store for a long time now more then ten years but I went to school in 2011 and got my diploma in 2014...I really love my work it makes me happy to help people.

Original Optical Products:
I could not stop creating yesterday so when I finished the layout above I had to make a quick tag because I really love that text on the black paper sheet...
