Tranquility Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Playing at Lindy's Stamp Gang

Hi lovely friends,
I can't believe 2016 is almost over but 2017 is going to be a wonderful scrappy year for me as well....if you want to know more you could visit my blog and see. For today's post I used the pretty new "I Wish"collection and made a layout with a winter touch and picture of our handsome boy way back in time. As much as I love making winter projects layout's, cards and such I don't like the cold at all and always wonder how it would be if I was born in a warm country. I find snow very peaceful although I dislike the mess it makes when melting.....for this layout I took out my favorite Martha Steward around the corner punch and lifted the corners so that the middle part didn't look so high!

Tranquility:
What I really do like about Maja Design papers are the extra borders you get on each sheet....on this layout I used two of them to accent my layout! They are a great pieces of extra to compliment your work. On the background sheet I added some paste, spray, snow and stamps also all the chippies are by Dusty Attic which are treated with paint, embossing powder and snow. The edges of my layout are of course distressed and stitched.

Lately I am hoarding straws {kind of a new fetish for me lol} I love to use them on my layout. Did you ever use straws?? If so I would love to see your work or maybe you could enter this months challenge.....I really love this months mood board. I just love the fact that you could win a whole collection of your choice awesome right?

Maja Design papers used I wish: I wish to build a snowman, I wish you a Happy Holiday bs, I wish to play in the snow from the 6x6 paper pad, I wish for a holly jolly Christmas bs and I wish you lots of love and happiness bs.
With this layout I am entering this months challenge at the "Lindy's Stamp Gang" blog it's such a beautiful color combination just have a look here:

Hello Sweet Baby Boy Card for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

Goodmorning lovelies,
Oh I can't believe 2016 is almost over can you? The years are flying by so fast sometimes I wish I had a time machine hihihi.....It's almost Christmas and all of the design team members at Cheery Lynn Designs are making beautiful Christmas cards and me well I tried one or two before but I am not such a fan....so for today I made a baby boy card with that awesome new rattle shaker die as I said before I am hooked on the shaker dies.

Hello Sweet Baby Boy:
For my card I used the pretty "Vintage Baby" collection by Maja Design as you probably know I am hooked on their collections. This card exists out of five layers and the flowers are from another Maja Design collection.
In the rattle shaker I added the sweet shaker pieces plus some glass glitter and some glass beads. The center of the middle flower is made out of glass beads and the other flower centers are metal pieces by Prima Marketing.
I have to say that the Kiwi Doily looks awesome on any baby projects and I used my Dream Catcher die for another purpose the feathers attached to it look wonderful in flower clusters. The cute little metal tags on my card are by Tim Holtz. Maybe we could have them as dies too going to ask Cheery Lynn Designs that would be amazing right???
If you love the Cheery Lynn Designs dies I used, you could always enter the bi-weekly challenge at the Cheery Lynn Designs blog to win a $20 shopping spree.
This time it's challenge #244 "Red and Green Theme"
I can't wait to see your work!
I always enjoy looking at your works have a great week everyone.
