Just Love our Story layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

 Goodmorning lovely friends, 

Today is my turn to show you some inspiration on my blog. For this occasion I made a layout with some beautiful 2crafty chippies and the pretty "P.S. I love you papers" by Graphic 45. For this layout I used a wedding picture of ours back in 2012 in front of city hall.

Most chipboard pieces are layered with black gesso except for the "Leafy Shrub Set 3" that one is treated with white gesso. On that last one I added different colors of green matte acrylic paints to fit the colors of the papers. After that I added some white matte wax and splashes of darker wax. 

After I added the black gesso on the frame I also added some of the papers from the collection behind it I love how that truned out. Then I added some white matte & shiny wax. I think how you alter the chipboard pieces on your work makes them pop extra and sometimes simple treatment makes it perfect for your layout.

24 Years of Love {enjoy the journey} Canvas Playing at ***Finnabair May 2022 Art Recipe ***!!

Goodmorning lovely friends, 

Today I am here with you to share another mixed media panel {canvas} the size of the canvas is 27 by 22cm and for this one I am celebrating our {my husband & mine} 24 years of love together. I will be entering the May Art Recipe at the Finnabair blog. I was this months guest designer and I loved playing again with these beautiful colors & designs. 

24 Years of Love {enjoy the journey}: 

I first prepped my canvas with clear gesso after that I added the pretty tissue papers with the soft matte gel. Then I added some mica powders with a brush and some water. Later on I applied a stencil with some translucent crackle paste. 

After that I added the script stencil with some paper texture paste, underneath the picture I have used the pretty vellum that I won in february. At the end I arranged al my flowers and metal embellishments and glued it on my canvas and I added some art stones & wishing bubbles.

A Moment With You is Magical Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***

 Hi there lovely friends, 

I am excited to show you my second layout for 2Crafty, for this one I used the color yellow which I not use that often. But when I got my new 2Crafty chippies I knew exactly which ones I wanted to use & with what paper collection I was going to use it. The picture is a oldie and I wanted to use it since we are going to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary next month.

All the chipboard pieces are treated with gesso and "purely white"embossing powder then I added a layer of wax with two different colors {rusty brown and old white} on the foliage pieces I added some green matt acrylic paint and on the little circles I added gold pearlecents.

I did some machine stitching around my picture, and also used some pretty flowers, rub-ons, wishing bubbles and did a lot of fussy cutting from the "sunflower" collection by ScrapAndMe. At the end I added some frozen jack frost & shimmer spray. 

I also added some rub-on words & three beautiful butterflies made by my very talented friend Renea Harrison. Thank you so much for your visit and I hope to see you next time.

Cherish the 2 of Us Layout January SOE Be Mine Kit for ***Scraps of Elegance***

Goodmorning everyone, 

I finally had the time to dig into my beautiful January "Scraps of Elegance"Be Mine kit it has some amazing papers from The Blue Fern Studios in it and other amazing add ons. Today I have a layout with two pictures of my handsome husband and I from a couple of years back.

Cherish the 2 of us: 

For this layout I used three of the sheets from the main kit one of the blue/green paper that I cut on the black lines so that I could distress it later on. Then I added a yellow sheet cut up behind the torn one. I also layered another blue/green sheet on top and bottom of my layout.





Then I used a diamond stencil with some paste and on top of that I used a background stamp and some ink sprays. Also I used some feather stamps to add to my flower clusters. The chipboard phrase I cut up and left the word "just"out of this layout and I added a papers strip from the collection with the word "cherish"! The chipboard is treated with gesso, embossing powder & spray.





In the kit there are white hearts that I used as a mold to trace on my patterned papers so I could add two of them on my layout. I stitched the edges from both hearts and then I stamped a script stamps on both of them. The two flowers where made out of a flower die you can use any die to make a flower like this, and in the middle of the flowers I added die cut shapes from the kit.
