Cheeky Snapshot layout for ***The Dusty Attic***

Hello lovelies,
Today I am sharing a masculine 12x12 layout which for me is a clean and simple layout without using any flowers.....yess me without flowers it was a real challenge I can tell you!
The picture is of my dear hubby when he was just a cute little boy {he loves that picture NOT lol that I had to use it just to tease him} For this layout I played with some amazing 49 and Market papers & stamps.

Cheeky Snapshot:
All the pretty chipboard pieces are treated with gesso and acrylic paint by Dusty Attic {those paints are the bomb for sure} there is such a lovely variation of beautiful colors that you can use them for any layout of other projects.

The word Cheeky is one of my favorite ones by Dusty Attic that word pack is amazing to use on masculine layouts for sure. I cut the largest piece of the DA1521 - Scribble Frame Set Small in two pieces and added them on two seperate parts of my layout.

The numbers around my picture are painted with the denim blue paint and then I added some gesso with a dabber on random spots. The nuts ate painted with the grey paint and then I added some black paint to the edges.

Dusty Attic products used:

Other products used:
Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays

49 and Market stamps
Tim Holtz chitchat word strips
TCW Mini Tile Mania 6x6 stencil {Gabi's design}

Sweet Moments Round Canvas Challenge #5 "Everything Besides Square" for ***CraftAddiction***!

Goodmorning everyone,
It's the beginning of the month so there is a challenge going on at the Craft Addiction challenge site right here ==> "Challenge Blog" <== this time you can make everything you would like but if it's square you are out, this was a really hard challenge for me because I normally do layouts. I am not so good in making off the page projects but I thought well I need to give this a go. I am not so happy with this picture because I really love when it has a lighter background but hey it will do. I had I round canvas still in my stash so I used that one for this project.

Sweet Moments:
For this canvas I used pretty products from "49 and Market" and also from "The Dusty Attic"to compliment all the products I used from the Craft Addiction store. It was a lot of fun making this but I have to say that I will stick on making layout & cards lol.

I love me some metal pieces so here I used a pen nip with the word notes on it en also two metal pebbles. For this canvas I used the Powertex 3D Balls Medium, some mica flakes and prills to accent the 3D balls in giving them a bit of coloring.

All the chipboard pieces were treated with gesso from the Craft Addiction store and some acrylic paint by The Dusty Attic. The stencil I used is a new one from Gabi and I added some Decoart Crackle Paste White to it.

Craft Addiction products used:

Other products used:
49 and Market "Scents of Nature" Collection, 49 and Market Flowers & Stamps, Dusty Attic Chipboard, Dusty Attic Acrylic paints, BoBunny Stamp, Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays, Ranger Crackle Accents, Prills & Mica Flakes, Mica Powder & 3D Matte Gel, Cheese Cloth.

Time to Dream Layout for ***Maja Design*** and playing at ***More Than Words***!

Goodmorning lovelies,
I love my Maja Design papers so much that I find them a blessing to work with. Lately I am totally into baby layouts really don't know why the only thing I can think of that babies are so stinking cute....for this layout I wanted to highlight just one color extra besides black & white which officously is orange. I am not such a fan of that color but it reminds me of a wonderful time with our handsome son Kevin because one of his first words he said besides dad, mom and car was orange {still think that is so funny}...

Time to Dream:
I really love the black & white sheets in the Sommartider collection I always use them when I need a black or white peice of paper to create with. Before I started creating I firstly picked out the flowers I wanted to use {sadly my last black ones that I have} the orange ones are by 49 and Market and called shimmer & shine, the black ones are by Petaloo and the white ones are by Dusty Attic like all the chipboard is too.

With this layout I am going to enter in this months challenge at  "More Than Words" I really love this months color pallete black & white plus one mine plus one is orange as you can see above this was a real challenge for me because I find orange a hard color to scrap but because I get to work with the most amazing flowers there are in this industry it made it easy again. Here is the gorgeous mood board:
At first I cut out the middle part of the Strandmode bs sheet and stuck the Sommarens bild bs behind it, I also did that with the sunny side sheet from the "Nyhavn collection. Then I distressed the edges of both sheets and machine stitched on the orange sheet. Then I picked out hte picture I wanted to use. I treated my chipboard pieces with gesso and rust paste because it has orange in it to finish my layout I added some sidewalk chalk {white} spray by lindy's to make it a little shabby chic. I also added some shimmer spray by the same manufactor. The last thing I added are some orange glass beads and prills....

Maja Design papers used: Sommartider: Sommarens bild and Strandmode bs, Nyhavn: The Sunny Side.

Other products used:
The Dusty Attic Chipboard
49 and Market flowers & stamps,
Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays
Rust Paste, cheese cloths, thread, gesso, glass beads, prills, jewels, feathers, metal pieces, flair, crochet icons, stencil, paste.

Thank you so much for stopping by I hope you enjoyed my post today, and I have inspired you to play with your lovely Maja Design goodies have a lovely weekend.....

Spread Your Wings Layout for ***The Dusty Attic*** & Playing at 7 Dots Studio

Hi everyone,
When I got my massive DT box from The Dusty Attic I was so excited that I started right away!
I ordered the gorgeous two new collections at 7 Dots Studio and got that order in too.....
I knew right away that I wanted to enter their challenge using the Dusty Attic mood board at the same time. So for this layout I used two different paper collections and the word stickers and a bunch of chipboard.
The picture I used is one I recently made of our handsome boy and his new haircut and I am very lucky to be his mother.

Spread Your Wings:
Did you already play with us this month at the Dusty Attic blog? If not you must give it a go because you could win a $100 give voucher and I have to tell you it's worth it because they are a delight to work with!

Here is the mood board:
For this mood board I went in another direction as I would normally do....normally I would immediately take out my Maja Design papers and go for a white or light background but for this one I went with black/grey

The flowers I used are by Dusty Attic, Prima marketing and Petaloo I have to say those Dusty Attic flowers are so cute I wish I could swim in them hehe. I also used a couple of stencils and some amazing sprays, pastes, inks.

I think you can really combine rustic chipboard pieces with flowers on a masculine layout don't you think so too? I am totally in love with the Nuts & Bolts they give your layout such a nice touch. The text strips are mostly by Tim Holtz with the exception if the "spread you wings" one that one matches my papers I used.

Picture Perfect Layout for ***Maja Design***

Hi everyone,
This is a layout that I made with several Maja Design collections and this was posted on their blog Friday the 2nd {as I was filling in for Elena Olinevich}we switched days. I used a picture of my handsome man that I took on our vacation in Turkey. On this layout I used a bunch of The Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I treated all differently I painted, embossed & stamped them. The collections I used are "Vintage Spring Basics", "Nyhavn"and "Sommartider"....every flower except the black ones are hand made with lovely dies.

Picture Perfect:
For the first time ever I used straws on my layout.....I totally love it! I did see it a lot on scrapbook pages that I had to try it too. I love this color palette especially because purple is my favorite color to scrap. Alle the chipboard pieces are first gessod and later on painted with Dusty Attic acrylic piant and the circles with the text in them are embossed with Lindy's Stamp Gang powder. On the frame I added some text stamps at the end.

I enjoy all the metal pieces there are in this hobby but I have to say I am running out of them and they are not for sale anymore here in The Netherlands it is sad that they are not here forever lol.....I so love this picture of my handsome men I am the luckiest woman on this planet.
I did some mixed media on the background too I can't imagine to not use spray or paste on my work anymore they so give your layout the wow factor hihihihi.

Maja Design papers used:
Sitting at the dock {Nyhavn}, Badlakan {Sommartider},7th of April, 8th of April, 9th of April, 10th of April & 11th of April {Vintage Spring Basics}

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and I would like to thank each and everyone of you who always leave such sweet comments on my blog.....have a lovely & sunny weekend.
