Daddy's Gorgeous Girl Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!

 Hello lovely friends,

Welcome to my blog, today I am showing you a layout with a bunch of gorgeous 2Crafty chipboard pieces. I am a massive fan of making beach & wintery layouts this time I chose a beach one, with a picture of Abbey and her bucket full of shells. The papers I used are by Maja Design and are two different collections. The picture was taken last year, Abbey loves the beach and she always says "it's sunny on the beach mommy" you have to put sunscreen on me.

Daddy's Gorgeous Girl:

 2Crafty Chipboards used:
Daddy's Girl
Breanna's Swirl
Frame Lucy's Flourish
Frame Celia's Flourish
Fine Word Set 2
Fishing Net Bits

Firstly I coated all the chipboard pieces with a thin layer of white gesso, then I used a couple of different acrylic & liquid paints to cover my chipboard pieces. On some of them I dabbed a darker brown paint randomly and others I used waxes on.

On the background I did some mixed media such as stamps, inks and sprays and I finished of my layout by adding some art stones, sea shells, flair {long time ago since I used them} and some word strips. I also used some metal pieces.

I would like to thank you all for being here with me today and for your amazing support. I really love this creative journey I am sharing with you all ....

Moments to Smile Everyday Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Playing at Scrap and Me & Scrapaholics!!

 Goodmorning Lovely Fans,

How nice of you to visit my blog today! As most of you know I love to mix and match collections what is amazing to do with all the Maja design lines. For this layout I used five collections because I wanted to follow a moodboard at a challenge site which was light teal, pink, grey and white. The grey flowers are handmade and super easy to do. The white paper with the clocks is my favorite sheet from the "Crea Diem"collection I used two, from one I cut out the clocks to add extra on my layout.

Moments to Smile Everyday:

The grey paper I used as the base of my layout on that one I added the sheet from the "Vintage Summer Basics" in the light teal color. All the papers are distressed and I used  stamps and a stencil on the background. The rest of the flowers are off course by 49 and Market. I love to use pictures of our little Abbey she is growing up so fast trying to say difficult words just to funny she makes our lives compleet & happy.

The chipboard pieces are by scrapaholics and are treated with white gesso, ink, paint, sprays and the words with embossing powders. From the 'Miles Apart"collection I cut out a whole bunch of roses & leaves that I placed around my picture. The cute little butterflies are from a sheet from the 'Vintage Spring Basics"collection.

The stencil I used is by the very talented Gabrielle Pollacco whom I totally miss in this creative world....On the 6th of this month it was my husband's and also my birthday he turned 50 this year I made him a Abrahim lol just too funny. I turned 43 this year a green leaf like he always sais lol hahahaha.....He was so sweet to give me such a nice present he gave me a new sewing machine for scrapping but they could not deliver it because they all had to back because there was something wrong with them {I am so sad about that hopefully I will have it back soon} I miss sewing on my layouts it was one of my trademarks on my work and now it was a long time I did...

Maja Design papers used: Crea Diem: den oersattliga tiden, Nyhavn: king's square, Vintage Summer Basics: 1943, Miles Apart: the little things & ephemera, Vintage Spring Basics: 6th of May.

With this layout I will be entering two challenge one over at the Scrap an Me Blog on this blog it's a bingo challenge #78 which is my birth year that's why I had to play along. I have used the row in the middle Flowers, Chipboard and Butterflies

And for the second one it was a pretty moodboard at Scrapaholics Open Studio at Facebook justhave a look: pretty right???
I sure hope I have inspired you to be creative ;-)
What are the most collections you have ever used to make a layout? I am very curious I think this is mine but to make sure I really have to go back in time. I will tell you in my next post....have a wonderful day and please stay safe & healthy.

A Moment to Smile Layout for ***Renea Bouquets*** & ***Maja Design***!

Goodmorning sweet followers,

I am very excited to be sharing my first layout as a guest designer for Renea Bouquest. For this layout I have used two pictures of our vacation back in 2010 when Kevin was such a cute little boy. We had so much fun then I sure miss our vacations but hopefully covid is on it's return. For this layout I used Maja Design papers and all Renea Bouquets embellishments and oh boy how I love those gorgeous dragonflies!

A Moment to Smile:On the edges of my background paper I added a lot of distress oxide "vintage photo" after I distressed all my edges first. Next thing I did was adding a background stamp and a splatter stencil to give it more of a beachy feeling. Then I used a couple of my lindy's sprays to soften up my background. Now my background is done.

I also used distress oxide "vintage photo" on the beautiful boards. The beautiful boards frames Victorian Scroll Frame & 2 Accents are treated with rust effect past by finnabair and later on I added the Blue Lagoon wax to give it the teal look to match my flowers.

To finish of my layout I also added some art stones and some gorgeous No hole seafoam glass Microbeads by Renea Bouquets. As you see in the last picture the beautiful boards are very thick and nicely cut and you can also leave them untreated as I did with the words moment & smile.

The Unforgetable Moments of Childhood Magic Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Playing at More Than Words & 13 Arts!!

 Goodmorning my amazing followers,

Today I'd like to share another layout I made for my Maja Design DT work I am so happy that you find the time to visit my blog today, here in The Netherlands they just decided to have a hard lockdown due covid-19, I personally think that it's way to late but who am I right? Luckily in my line of work {optician} we can still be open and help the people who need to see but for my husband it's a whole other story but he can still go to work but we don't know for how long. Well enough of the covid-19.....today I'd like to show you another layout that I made with two gorgeous collections "Celebration"& "Nyhavn"

The Unforgetable Moments of Childhood Magic:
This was a fun and easy page to make also because I don't have many pictures with snow in it....only when Kevin was a cute little boy. For the bottom part of my layout I used the Nyhavn sheet called sitting at the dock which is one of my all time favorites and for the upper part I used the ephemera sheet of Celebration. At that first sheet I used a awesome winter background stamp by studio light with some stazon jet black ink I stamped randomly, then for the upper part I used a stencil by the dusty attic of stars.

The frame around the picture is also by the dusty attic as is the word childhood. With this layout I will be entering two challenges one is a moodboard of winter at the 13 Arts blog and the other one is of childhood & to add some gold at More Than Words. The leaves you see on my layout are dies by cheery lynn designs which I cut out from the Maja Designs monochromes and then treated with lindy's stamp gang sprays.

I added different golden elements on my layout as glitter glass, gold sprays & finnabair wax on the art pebbles as the finishing touch I added some true snow by arleene's and some butterflies of the coffee in the arbour collection. I also added some flatbackpearls on the frame.

Maja Design papers used: Celebration Ephemera bs, Nyhavn sitting at the dock bs, Mono White Sand bs of the sofiero & Coffee in the Arbour butterflies are free.

As I told you earlier in my post I will be entering two challenges one at More Than Words with the word "Childhood" and to add some gold....how did this moodboard inspire me, well that's easy when I was a child there was snow almost every winter! My brothers and I where always playing ouside throwing snow at each other and playing & skating on the ice....and when Kevin was little we also played in the snow with him and that where fun times reminding me of my own childhood! That's why I used this picture.
and the second one is at the 13 Arts blog challenge #97 and for you work you needed to use at least one 13 Arts product and I used the words "Unforgetable", "Moments" & Magic from the Chipboard Winter Tales words which I had in my stash for a while now and I finally got to use it yeah....and isn't this moodboard amazing???
Thank you so much for being here with me today I hope you like my work have a wonderful day .......stay safe & healthy......
