My Family back in 1951 Layout for ***Graphic 45***!!!

Goodmorning lovely friends,

I am a huge fan of old photos so I went to my uncle & moms Facebook page to steal some.

This one is with my great grandmother in the middle on the left you see two of my granddad’s sisters and on the right my two great grandfathers.

I also really love soft toned Graphic 45 paper collections so that’s why I used an older one here “A Ladies Diary” you can surely remember that one right? The graphics are amazing and on this layout I used two molds a set of little hands to hold the title and a frame to hold the photo.

My Family back in 1951:

Making layouts is my thing as you can see, also I love to add layers so that’s what I did with this one. Stitching is my signature style as you see here I did that on both cream colored sheets. Then I used a script stamp and a stencil to my layout and later on I added some white spray. For this layout I did a lot of fussy cutting which is very relaxing but also very time consuming and of that last one I don’t have that much.

Metal embellishments are amazing to use and on this layout I have used two buckles, one in the left upper corner and one in the right lower corner. And wow even for me it’s odd that I didn’t use any chipboard pieces on this one.

I distressed all the edges of my layout, building this page was very easy and this one was made within five hours without counting the fussy cutting part. I colored the molds pieces with some sprays, acrylic paints matte & metallique and some waxes.

I also used the stickers sheet which is full of pretty phrases, words and letters. The letters I used for my title, and I also used the “Graphic 45 unique papercrafting” in my buckles I cut them off my papers.

That beautiful lady was lifted with foam tape so I could add that flower cluster in the end I added some bubbles and waxes on the flowers to soften them up a little.

I also did a lot of fussy cutting on this layout I find that very relaxing.

Thanks for the Fabulous Time Card for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***!

Goodmorning lovelies,
At the moment I am totally into making Autumn cards, I don't know why maybe it's because of the pretty paper collections & dies I get to work with!
For this card I used two new paper collections from 49 and Market named "Scents of Nature"and "Looking Through" in the last one there are these lovely fairy & mushrooms pictures that you can cut out. That got me thinking I had those cute mushroom dies that I wanted to use for a long time and it totally was a wonderful fit for this card.

Thanks for the Fabulous Time:
Oh how I love that B296 - Tiny Bubbles Borders die it can be used for serveral occations such as summer cards/layouts but also fall, spring and winter projects. This time I added some mixed media products like sprays by Lindy's Stamp Gang and that amazing "bubbles stamp" by 49 and Market {designed by Gabrielle Pollacco who was a guest designer at Cheery Lynn Designs some time ago}
The thanks stamp is by Joy design! The flower is made by two flowers that I have combined I wetted the flowers and wrinkled them a little en then I dried them. Underneath the flower I added the gorgeous B179 - Iris Leaves & B206 - Mini Leaf Set that I got in my latest DT pack.

I hope you enjoyed my post and I have inspired you to use your Cheery Lynn Designs dies.
Have a wonderful Mother's Day....

Happy Dreams are Special Layout for ***The Dusty Attic*** & ***49 and Market + Playing at Lindy's Stamp Gang

Hi sweeties,
Today I am back with another layout, this time it's pretty in pink ;-) and I used some of the amazing shimmer & shine - Blush Jardin flowers on my layout.
I really love to combine the pretty collections by 49 and Market this time I combined the "Vintage Artistry" Botanical sheet and the "Heirloom Botanicals" Sanctuary & Harmony sheets. I also used the cut out sheet from the "Flower Fairies"collection for the leaves I added in the flower clusters.
This layout is based on the Dusty Attic mood board/sketch for the month February so naturally I added a bunch of chipboard pieces. Oh wow and those stitch chippies are "STUNNING"I think I found my new love....

Happy Dreams are Special:
Firstly I sprayed some Lindy's sprays on the back ground sheet before I stamped with a square pattern stamp, then I cut of the bottom and top of the "Vintage Artistry" Botanical sheet and punched it with my notebook edge punch and placed it on top a pink sheet from the "Heirloom Botanicals" collection. Then I took out Gabi's square stitch stamp set and stamped around the edges of lighter paper sheet.

I told you above that this layout was based on the mood board / sketch at The Dusty Attic site just take a look at this prettiness.....gorgeous right???

Most of the chipboard pieces are treated with rust paste and mica powder but some of them I just embossed but all where primed with gesso first. That cute little baby girl the granddaughter of a friend of mine. I used a couple of the clocks from the cut out sheet { heirloom botanicals } which a look so amazing on any layout.

The flowers I used are such a delight to work with and really a high quality you can also cut them apart and used them separately on your work {I know it's hard to cute or part such beauty}
I also added some rub-ons to my work to accent the matting of my pictures and dark background stamp.

49 and Market products used:
Vintage Artistry collection: Botanical Press
Heirloom Botanicals collection: Sanctuary & Harmony
Flower Fairies collection: Cut Out Sheet
49 and Market Flowers: Shimmer & Shine - Blush Jardin, Rustic Collection - Piontsettia Canvas Blooms.

With this layout I will be entering this months challenge at "Lindy's Stamp Gang" I really like this months mood board so soft and sweet. And that totally fits my layout using those cute baby girl pictures.

Today I would like to show you a layout I made for BoBunny with the super amazing "Safari" collection. Maybe you all know that that collection has all kinds of animal prints, zoo animals & and everything that has to do with wildlife on it.
I wanted to challenge myself to not make a layout with animals on it but make that collection more of a romantic one.
So I used a picture of my uncle & aunt being all smoochy on a top of a mountain looking at a gorgeous view {if I recall it's in Denver Colorado}

Two Cards for the **BoBunny** stamp week!

Hi everyone,
Today I would like to share two cards I made for BoBunny.
Last week it was the stamp week over at the BoBunny blog and I love stamping, at first I was so afraid of it but now well....I stamp on every layout or card.

Happy B Day You:

When I saw I was designing in the stamp week I got really excited I love stamping especially with the BoBunny stamps. The base of my card is made with the Coffee sheet from the Double Dot range this card has four layers.

I made this card for my husband he was born in 1971 don't you just love those circle number stamps?
Distressing the borders of the four layers is what I think makes it all look very shabby.

The flower with the hash-dag brad was handmade using the plain Kraft Gift bags. I took out my It Is Written stamp and just randomly stamped on my cut out circles. Then I sprayed them with water & gold glimmer spray and wrinkle my six circle {in three different sizes} up and you have a flower.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Passage, Antiquity, Evening Mist/Somewhere In Time
Double Dot: Coffee
Stamps: Stitches, It Is Written, You're Invited, Inline Alpha, Captured
Doilies: Small
Kraft Gift Bag: Plain
Kraft Wood: Clocks
Blossoms: Buttercup Bouquet, Denim Blue Zinnia
Brads: Somewhere In Time
Glimmer Spray: Gold, Sugar

Hello You:

The design of this card is quit similar as my first card it also has four layers. When I got my DT package with the Enchanted Garden collection in it, it was the first collection I cut into which is sometimes really hard to do. I cut out the butterflies first then I didn't look at it for a long time and they were laying all around my scrap room but now they finally have a purpose were it should be on a card.

The three squares are made with a Cheery Lynn Designs die. I stamped on the squares with the music stamp & stitch stamp, then I took out my stickable stencil and pasted on top of the squares then I finished it of with the mint, gold and sugar glimmer spray.

On the right side of the squares I stamped the largest Curly Q stamp and went over it with the butterscotch pearlescents pen to make little pearls.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Enchanted Garden, Pathway, Fantasy, Periodical/Enchanted Garden
Double Dot: Island Mist
Double Dot Jewels: Emerald
Stamps: Stitches, It Is Written, You're Invited, To The Point, Curly Q
Glimmer Spray: Gold, Sugar, Mint
Pearlescents: Butterscotch
Stickable Stencils: Brocade

Did you already visit the BoBunny blog there is a new sketch challenge going on I would love to see what you will create! Visit the blog here ==> BoBunny Blog <==
I do hope you like my cards wish you all a wonderful & creative week.
