"Happy Spring Day" card for Cheery Lynn Designs

Happy Saturday everybody,
It's spring I can't believe it's going so fast but 'he' who am I to complain.
I love spring!
Thursday it was a warm and sunny day but Friday and today it's poring like crazy but it smells like spring.
Today I would like to share a card.
I really like the burlap border so much and I wanted to layer it so it looks like real burlap and that worked out really well as I may say so. I cut out four pieces and layered them on top of each other one a little higher then the other.
For this card I used the gorgeous new "Happy Trails" by BoBunny it's a animal collection but you will see it's so versatile. I wanted to make the sun the center piece of my card. For that I used two different doily dies.
I went with the challenge of this week "think spring" on Cheery Lynn Designs blog.
I'm totally into yellow at the moment it brings so much joy to your projects, you really need to try if you haven't already.

Feminine card for Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone,
Today I would like to share a card with you!

Cherish:
It feels like ages ago since my last post. There is a lot of things happening in my personal life that I had to deal with (the loss of two wonderful women in my life, my granny and my husbands granny in just one week four days apart.) With this card I would like to honor their life and show you how much I loved them and still do.
Cheery Lynn Designs is such a wonderful team to be on!
So I'd like to take the opportunity to thank Sandy, she offered to take my day and post her wonderful creations thank you so much for being there ;-)))
I went with this weeks challenge and created a card with the gorgeous Gardenia Strip, you can make so many different flowers with that one die. Which is awesome because I love to make my own flowers.
I love using the feathers of the dream catchers Cheery Lynn offers to make my flowers clusters more appealing to look at.
I would try and make a tutorial very soon to let you see how to created a couple different flowers with the Gardenia Strip.......

Pretty Girl 8x8 Layout

Hi everybody,

Are you all enjoying your week so far? Hope you are!
Today I want to share a soft layout with you all.
I can't help myself those papers attract me the most.
I used two of the new releases on my layout this time and a whole bunch more.

Pretty Girl

Cheery Lynn Designs dies used:
B373 - Siena Double Edge Border (new October release)
DL266 - Dripping Butterfly (new October release)

I added some golden gel medium (crackle paste) to make some damask pieces on my paper.
I layered four pieces off paper on my layout, the beautiful Siena Double Edge Border I cut in half to add on either side of my blue paper.
As for the flower centres I used some stamens white and light pink.
I have to tell you I'm in love with my Script die, it makes such pretty letters.
The Dream Catcher I split up and used the feathers as leaves and the upper part as a doily.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, I hope you all like my layout and I hope I've inspired you to make one yourself.
