Goodmorning my lovely friends,
Today I'd like to show you another layout and again just for fun. I really love this photo of Kevin & Abbey. I think it's one of my most precious ones that's because you see the love Kevin has for his little sister a bond that can never be broken. For this layout I used all 49 and Market papers, embellishments and flowers but all the mediums I have used are by Finnabair.
Brotherly Love Lasts Forever:
I also used this months sketch at the 49 and Market Fans Facebook page but also the one at the More Than Words blog. This time I flipped the 49 and Market one so it looked more like the one at More Than Words. As most of you know I am a hugh sucker for the color purple and again this month there was a beautiful moodboard at the finnabair blog so I could not resist to enter a second time.
I cut the "Reminisence"sheet and placed the outside edges inwards I hope you know what I mean by that...then I placed on top of the other woodgrain sheet from the same collection and distressed the edges also I used a stitch stamp on now what are the outer edges then I randomly added the script stamp & a Finnabair stencil so now my background is ready.
On the some what blue flowers I added some art alchemy opal magic paint in the color blue-pink. On the purple flowers I used some finnabair waxes {sweet rose & heather hills}, also the cirkel underneath my photo is treated with art alchemy paint metallique vintage rose & impasto paste lavender. To finish of my layout I added some wishing bubbles, art stones and white paint splatters.
As I told you before I really love the sketches at the 49 and Market blog/facebook page they are very inspiring to me. This time I rotated it to the left and used just one picture. I am very excited to see the new one for the month May.
I was also very happy to see that More Than Words had a sketch this month. You could use or be inspired by the word perfect for me this is the perfect photo of the love and bond between two siblings. To my kids "Always Remember"that!
As I just love purple & pink that's why I fell in love with the April Art Recipe at the Finnabair blog.
The colours: pastel pink, pastel blue, lilac!
You could choose two of the four products listed and those where:
Icing paste, Jewel Effect Paste, Impasto Paint or ArtAlchemy Metallique Paint!
For my layout I used: Impasto Paint in the color Lavender & ArtAlchemy Metallique Paint {three different ones}
Finnabair products used:
Alchemy Opal Magic Violet-Gold
Alchemy Opal Magic Blue-Pink
Alchemy Metallique Was Heather Hills
Impasto Paint Lavender
I was so excited to see that Mixed Media Place had a very similar mood board as at the Finnabair blog. So I thought well why not enter here too it's my second time to enter there...I always see their pretty moodboards but I never found the time to make something for it and then the challenge is over before I know it ;-) Looks how pretty.....
I really loved the color challenge at the Lindy's Stamp Gang blog very much that I entered twice too ;-) Look at their amzing color challenge.
