Special Memories Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Tutorial

Goodmorning lovelies,
Are you all enjoying your summer vacation?
Today Io would like to show you a layout with a video tutorial my first {so be gentle with me} I had a little help from my husband because I don't know the program we use for video editing that good well not jet anyways. I am posting this a little late because I am busy packing for our vacation in Turkey. This was posted on the Maja Design blog a week and a half ago and maybe you have seen it on Facebook already. For this layout I used the always gorgeous "Vintage Autumn Basics"collection plus one of the blue sheets from the "Vintage Baby"collection. This time I went for the blues, green & cream papers. I also added some Dusty Attic chipboard pieces on my work with some handmade {dies by Cheery Lynn Designs}, Petaloo & Dusty Attic flowers. It's so much fun to use all products from the three design teams I am in....it feels like a true blessing.

Special Memories:
the blue and green flowers are the ones that I made myself as you will see in the video, The picture is of my little family well without me lol. I was planing on using the background sheet with the blue flowers on it for ages but I always took out the pink tones in this papers collection because I always have trouble finding the correct blue toned flowers. But this time it worked out very well because I made my own flower.

Here is my tutorial:
I hope you liked my video and I think I am hooked now but I still have to figure out a lot on how to make it better because on this video you don't see things because I am working out of the screen sometimes

As you see here I used some different stencils one with flowers and one with the text on my layout! I really enjoy using mixed media on my layouts. I also stamped randomly on my papers and used many different Lindy's sprays. For the coloring of my chipboard I used the Dusty Attic acrylic paints. Don't you just love the tabs I used? They add some much to your layout.

On the arrow with feathers underneath my picture I used some threat and some metal gems to make it prettier. I painted that particular pieces with some dusty attic acrylic paint but also with the ust paste set by Finnabair oh boy how I love that stuff. To make my layout complete I aded some clocks from the same collection I used here.

Maja Design papers used: From the Vintage Autumn Basics collection: no.XXII, no.XXI, no.XXII BS, no. VII BS, no. XVI, no. XIX BS, no.XXIII BS and from the Vintage Baby collection: Special Delivery BS.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and I hope you liked my video and my layout!
Have a lovely day everyone xox

My Fabulous Men 8x8 Layout for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

Goodmorning lovelies,
Did you enjoy all the projects made with all the lovely new Fall & Winter Holiday releases?
I really enjoyed looking at everyone's work so many new ideas pop up in my mind.
Although I am not such a fan of Christmas & Halloween dies these baby's make make me sing {and believe me I can't sing}!
So you probably will see me make more of those kind of cards around that time but for now I made a 8x8 layout again as promised. As maybe many of you know I am a sucker for Cheery Lynn Designs flower dies so this layout is loaded with many of these wonderful dies.

My Fabulous Men:

A couple weeks back we took a selfie with our dog {Fibi my princes} only my husband did not have his sunglasses on so it looks like he shit in his pants lol....hihihi!
For this layout I used the gorgeous "Nyhavn" collection by Maja Design which is by far my most favorite collection to design with ever not sure why but probably because there are so many masculine elements.

I used part of the B338 - Black Eyed Susan Strip as a center for my build a flower die. I firstly made the flowers peddles wet and wrinkly then layered it on top of a circle I cut out just like I wanted it to be. The word men was made with partly the B410 - My {set of 2} and the other two letters came out of the FS171 - Delicate Lace Script!

2016 Fall & Winter Holiday Release - Part Two: Halloween for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

"For my give away press here"!

Goodmorning lovelies,
You are here on the last day of the Halloween part two release and I am very glad you have been with us all these day's. Don't you just love all the new dies? Well I do! I had so much fun creating this card "yep" sorry it's a card again as I told you the last time I was planning on creating a layout. But I have to admit I struggled with these dies because here in The Netherlands we don't celebrate Halloween that much and I have a son that hates to dress up. So I don't have any pictures of him that I can scrap...

BOO I dig you:

For this card I used all Maja Design papers and for once it's kind of clean & simple for me as I attend to always distress and stitch my papers and use all sorts of flowers on my work. I did not do that here at all {I don't want to brag but I am kind of proud of myself ;-) }
There are fourteen new fun Halloween themed die sets to choose from and more other themed die sets in the next following day's!
https://www.cheerylynndesigns.com/new-releases/
I have to tell you I really love these Monster Kid ones so I had to create with one of those sets! They are really detailed as you can see and you can layer them as you prefer.
The text on my card came form two different die sets the B840 - Fun with Frankenstein {NEW} and the B852 - Halloween Ghost {NEW} so you see that they can easily be used together as most of Cheery Lynn Design dies can be!

Cheery Lynn Design dies used:

Be sure to leave a comment today and every day between July 22nd and August 3rd. One lucky person that leaves a comment on the selected day will win a $20 gift certificate for a shopping spree on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog.
Also when you buy two of the new released dies you will get a free Sweet Candy Cane die awesome right!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!
I hope you enjoyed my post and I have inspired you to use your Cheery Lynn Designs dies. If you love the Cheery Lynn Designs dies I used, you could always enter our bi-weekly challenge to win a $20 shopping spree.
This time it's challenge #234 "Christmas in July Theme" I can't wait to see your work! I am not such a fan of making Christmas cards but I really love to see everybody else their creative cards.

Love This! First Layout for ***The Dusty Attic***

"For my give away press here"!

Goodmorning everyone.
I am so excited to show you my first layout that I made for this wonderful design team.
Did you see this months gorgeous mood board? My layout was inspired by the colors in that very same board. I also really like the phrase that was used in it so I incorporated that in my layout as well. For my layout I used all Maja Design papers and Petaloo flowers but also some of the amazing acrylic paints that Dusty Attic offers...I am a hugh addict on the rust paste's by Finnabair so I used them on all my chipboard pieces on this layout.

Love This:
To compliment the chipboard pieces I used here, I added some of the newer mechanicals metal embellishments mostly the hearts. The picture I used is on made back in 2010 during our vacation in Spain made by our son Kevin. Here I'll show you the mood board isn't it pretty.

Also I used some of the amazing stencils Dusty Attic has on this layout I used the Mini Heart Stencil and the Creative Script with the paste. I still feel like I am in seventh heaven being on this team. This is such a amazing mood board to be inspired by hopefully you are going to enter the challenge too.

I always print out my text on my computer on a piece of normal paper and later on I print it on the patterned piece of paper and then you can layer it on another paper like what I did here. Don't you just love the new tabs?

The Dusty Attic products used:
Mini Tabs #2 - DA1463
Mini Words #1 - DA0386
Creative Script Stencil - DA1494
Mini Heart Stencil - DA1472

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!
I want to wish you a wonderful & sunny weekend lots of love.....
