Spooky Halloween Hair Clips for Abbey + Playing at Lindy's October Color Challenge & Scrap And Me Blog Challenge #121!!!

Goodmorning lovely friends,
Our daughter Abbey loves Halloween and she asked me to make some spooky hair clips and so I did. The first clips you see in the picture below are flower hair clips with handmade fabric flower with in the center a eye {love those eyes}and coloured with some magicals. The other clips are made with some Finnabair moulds and I altered them with some lindy's embossing powders and some Finnabair glitters.

Spooky Halloween Hair Clips

These are my favorites loved how they turned out and those eyes are wonderful and it just finishes off the flowers at least that's what I think.

Our cute witch

And these are some spookyer ones it's so fun if you use embossing powder on a black background it turnes out very different than you think like you see above. The colors I used are above the hair clip.

With these Spooky Halloween Hair Clips I will be entering this months color challenge at
the Lindy's Gang Facebook Page the set of this month is "Haunted Halloween"
Here in Holland we are not very familiar with Halloween but there is more and more to buy & to do for that day and I have to say I love that! I used two colors of the Magicals & three Embossing Powders, Loved making these off the page projects for Abbey.

and I will be entering this months challenge at the ScrapAndMe Blog which is
 "Anything But a Card"

Christmas Cards for ***2Crafty Chipboard*** + Playing along with challenge 144 ~Christmas~ at Hobby Vision!!!

  Hi lovely creative friends,
Hope you are having a wonderful & creative day, for today I have two Christmas cards to share with you and I used some of the amazing chipboard pieces 2Crafty Chipboard offers.
 Enjoy my post.....

Snow Magic & Merry Christmas:

Amazing 2Crafty Chipboard used:
Corner Crackle
Merry Christmas Fine Card Pack
Crystal Snowflakes
Holly Twig- Branches
Word Circle Set 1
Dangling Merry Christmas Sign
Wintery Snowflake Set
Thin Square Stacked Frames
Snowball Tree
The Magic of Snow

I altered the chipboard pieces in different ways for my first card I mostly used embossing powder {gold & white} but for the "snowball tree" & the magic of snow phrase I cut those in pieces and I used two colors of matte acrylic paints after that I added some true snow randomly on those pieces.

The pieces of Crackle Corner, add texture and interest to the background and I've cut up
pieces of the Snowball Tree and tucked these amongst the paper flowers. Lovely gold embossed finish on the rectangle frame, adds a beautiful backdrop for
 the rest of the elements.

For my second card I left some of the chippies in their raw state. I sometimes feel that is a better fit on my projects. On some of the pieces I used some white gesso and on the holly twig branches I added some acrylic paint & some true snow. I've cut out the sentiment in the Word Circle and added the Merry Christmas sentiment to the middle.

Again on this cards, I've added cut up pieces of the Crackle Corner to the background for
some interest, and added some small snowflakes and Holly Twig Branches.

With this card I will be entering the challenge at the Hobby Vision Blog ~144~ Christmas normally I am not such a fan of Christmas but for the challenge at Tiets Facebook page I made some cards and 8x8 layouts.

Thank you so much for your visit today. And I sure hope that I have inspired you to take out your lovely 2Crafty Chippies and create and have fun while doing so. Have a blessed & sunny weekend!

His Forever Smile Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard*** + Playing at Lindy's September Color Challenge & Challenge #120 at SrapAndMe!!!

Goodmorning creative friends,
Today I share a layout with a picture of a wonderful three year old boy named "Phoenix McKay" who tragically lost his life on september 14th. He was my cousin Jaime & Weston {her husband} their little boy and he sadly got hit by a car. For me making this layout is a way to cope with the grief I feel, but also for them to celebrate his amazing short life.

His Forever Smile

Amazing 2Crafty Chipboard used:
Fine Word Set 1
His Smile
Baby Boy Title
Heart Clumps
Loopy Heart Swirl
Funky Heart Swirls
Squiggly Circle Arrow Journal Spots
Photo Corners & Name Plates

The phrase "His Smile" I altered with some paper I used and then cut it out along the lines after that I added some brown wax on the outlines. The word "Forever" is placed on top of that phrase and was treated with two layers of white embossing powder. I did the same with the loopy heart swirl but behind the open hearts I also placed some paper form the collection I used.

For the funky hearts swirls I spray painted them, after I treated all my chippies I used today with white gesso. I also did that with the rest of my chippies only in different colors The only pieces that I left raw is the circle arrow around the word "boy"! The big yellow flowers are handmade with fabric. I wanted to also add purple flowers since he loved that color but somehow I found more fitting to my page.

  With this layout I will be entering this months color challenge at the Lindy's Creative Gang Facebook Page the set of this month is "Steampunk Soiree" which is totally my style since I love steampunk I have used the spray's & magicals {colors: Yesteryear Yellow, Apothecary Azure and Bandolier Brown}

and I will be entering this months challenge at the ScrapAndMe Blog which is add a "sentence" and I did add a couple.

Thank you so much for your visit today. And I sure hope that I have inspired you to take out your lovely 2Crafty Chippies & Lindy's products and create and have fun while doing so. Have a blessed & sunny rest of the week!

  Hi lovely creative peeps,
For today I hope I inspire you to take out your lovely 2Crafty Chipboard and have some fun. I sure did that while making this beach layout with a photo from last June of Abbey & me at the beach. Oh and when I was making this post I was astonished on how much chippies I used didn't even realised it. Enjoy my post...

Most of the chippies I gessod first just one layer this time, and some of them I left in their raw state and only used some wax on them. I coloured the seagulls with my posca pens I used grey, black, orange & yellow.

I love to paint my phrases in different colors it gives it a fun effect. I coloured all the seaweeds I used on my layout with different acrylic paint in a matte tone. On the fishing net bits I added some rust paste but only the brown color . This was a really fun layout to create it only took me like more then six hours...

Picture Perfect Moment Mixed Media Panel for ***2Crafty Chipboard*** + Playing at Lindy's August Color Challenge!!!

  Hi lovely creative peeps,
For today's post I made another mixed media panel, 2Crafty Chipboards sells amazing 10" panels in different shapes for this project I used the oval one. And I off course used a picture of our Abbey blowing bubbles a while back {this picture was on my desk for ages but with every project I did I finally used another picture lol} Enjoy my post.....

Picture Perfect Moment:

Beautiful 2Crafty Chipboard used:
10" Decorative Panel Solid Oval
Flower Petals
Floral Branch
Window Shutter Set 3
Lattice Leaves
Heidi's Vines
Mini Title Stick Set 2
Fine Word Set 3

I treated almost all the chippies in different ways but for the Heidi's Vines & Floral branch I used the same technique. I just colored it with magicals and a brush without gesso-ing them first. I only gessod the window shutters, the word moment & the flower petals. The last one I want them to look more of a 3D flower so I wetted them first to seperate the petals and currled them a little.

I saw that technique a couple of years ago and I finally gave myself some time to do it. After that I spray paint them with magicals & some wax. The lattice leaves & tittle stick I just left raw with a little bit of brown matt wax.

With this project I will be entering this months color challenge at the Lindy's creative Gang Facebook Page the magical set of this month is "Mountain Meadows" which is a flat set which I normally really like but this time I added a little sparkle to two of the colors {for the background} with milky way white because I wanted the background to be a little lighter to make my flowers & chipboard pop. Oh and I used all five colors....

Thank you so much for your visit today. And I sure hope that I have inspired you to take out your lovely 2Crafty Chippies & Lindy's products and create and have fun while doing so. Have a blessed & sunny rest of the week!
