"Shine Brightly" Hanna Mixed Media Panel playing at Finnabair's blog!

Hello dear friends, 

How very nice of you to visit my blog, today I'd show you a mixed media panel. I made this project in honour of "Hanna Nicole Hale" my cousin her youngest daugther, who left this beautiful earth to be with god and the angels on July 23rd. I think to be creative in any way is very healing to the soul at least it is for me. It's totally out of my comfort zone to make something like this because most of you know my passion is with layout's & cards. But it was very theraputic and I really like how it tuned out. 

Shine Brightly Hanna:

For this project I used a whole bunch of "Finnabair"products. First I added heavy white gesso on the background then I added a stencil to later on treat the background with a couple of Lindy's spray's & some Artisan Powder "Paris Rose"

I also used some fussy cut flowers from the Miles Apart collection by Maja Design all the words texts are from Tim Holtz. I would love it if Anna would make something like that one day ;-) Al the flowers are by Prima Marketing 

If you look closely you see two greek numbers, two times eleven that was her age {22} and you see a four that is the age of her son. So you see this was made from the heart and I can tell you I shed a tear while making this.

Never Give Up, Life is Beautiful Card Playing at ***Finnabair July 2021 Art Recipe***!

Goodmorning my lovely friends,  
Today I'd like to share a card with you all. I made this card for this months "Art Recipe" at the Finnabair blog. Which is very appealing to the eye at least that is what I think. The phrase I have used here speaks so much to me because on the 23rd of July we have lost a family member {My cousin's daughter at the age of 22} Hanna leaves behind a handsome 4 year old boy & husband. It sadness me the way she died, of a overdose that's why I used that phrase.

For this card I used some gorgeous Maja Design papers from the "Denim and Girls" collection. The amazing chipboard pieces here ar by the wonderful "Renea Bouquets" I have treated those chippies with some Rust Paste, waxes & peach paint.

The big peach coloured flower is a older one by Prima Marketing and the rest of the flowers are by 49 and Market. I also used my favorite stencil on this card called "Dandelions" and I used some two different moulds.

My Precious Baby Girl Layout for ***Renea Bouquets*** + Playing at Scrap And Me Challenge #82!

  Goodmorning everyone, 

I am very pleased you are here on my blog today. We are almost at the end of our summer vacation and this week the weather is not so good sadly. But this Thursday we will go to a fairytail land with Abbey so you will probably see a couple of layouts with pictures of that here on the blog...For today I am sharing another layout with you all. This time I used the "Christmas Season" collection by Maja Design for a non Christmas layout love to do that every ones in a while. I am also very happy that I have a sewing machine again {Oh how I've missed that on my layouts} For this layout I went with the darker red, minty & cream shade of colors!

My Precious Baby Girl:I am in love with the pretty laces "Renea Bouquets" offers they are very delicate & beautiful. I really like to wrinkle my papers so I did that for this layout too I will try to make a short video for you in the near future of how I do that. The background paper I stitched around the edges and I added a Finnabair stencil then I placed my cream sheet on top of that a little out of the middle.

This time I left the beautiful boards just the way they are in the cream tones just like my paper and of course I used a picture of Abbey she is my muze....to finish my layout I added some art stones & some Lindy's spray. 

In the metal pins I added a piece of paper from the same collection and the glass dome was placed on top of that piece of paper with some glossy accents.

Happy Little Girl Layout for ***Renea Bouquets***!

  Goodmorning lovely bloggers, 

I have to tell you I am very much in love with all the pretty embellishments Renea Bouquets has to offer, that's why I feel very humble to be designing with them. I am a die heart layout maker so for today I have another layout to share packed with lovely products. For this layout I jet again used papers by Maja Design two collections that is. "Denim and Girls" & "Vintage Spring Basics" and I went for the soft blue & pink tones!

Happy Little Girl: 

The laces of Renea Bouquets are so pretty on this layout I used two. I added them behind my frames & on the left of my layout. On the background I added a stamp & a stencil and also some sprays. The darker blue flowers are also sprayed to let them match my layout. 

The beautiful boards I painted with acrylic paints and on the tillte I also added some wax by Finnabair. On the left you see a Martha Steward punch that I wrinkled and wetted. I also used my sewing machine on my picture and the outside of my page. 

At the end I added some words in black which totally fitted my layout & some sprays!!! By the way the big pink flowers that you see I made myself with some monochrome papers by Maja Design.

I idolise your silliness clear tag!!! Playing at ***More Than Words*** June's mini challenge!!!

 Hello my sweet friends, 

Today I'd like to share a tag with you all! I made this tag for this months mini challenge at the More Than Words blog. This was a challenging one for me because you had to use the word "Idol"! But in the end it worked for me because I changed it a little I made it more my own if you know what I mean.

I idolise your silliness: 

On this picture Abbey {our little girl} is wearing my shoes and making goofy faces and just being her silly self. I was planning to make a clear tag for a long time and I am so glad I finally did. For this tag I used the pretty "Georgia Blues" collection by Prima Marketing with matching flowers.

On the clear tag I added a stamp my Creative Embellishments with embossing ink and some light gold embossing powder by Lindy's Stamp Gang. On the left side where the paper is I stitched with my sewing machine on the other side I used my white stitch rub-ons by 49 and Market.

Behind Abbey I added some wings from a pack by Tim Holtz this was a really fun tag to make and I think my next one is going to be a clear tag as well but who knows....
